Welcome. If you’re reading this, you may well be experiencing difficulties with your mental health, either because of a specific event, or for what may seem like no obvious reason. There are a bewildering number of options to choose from, so how can I help you? I work psychodynamically, which means not just exploring what’s happening in the present, but also how your individual ways of coping and feeling may be linked unconsciously to your past. I have experience working with a variety of emotional issues and events, including anxiety, bereavement, stress, loneliness and unresolved childhood problems.
I offer regular in-person or online sessions for adults (18+), where through a collaborative, empathetic and non-judgmental therapeutic process, we can understand more about your unconscious world and bring it into your awareness. This can enable you to make more sense of who you are and how you feel, fostering self-compassion and effecting lasting change.
