Hi I am Florentine. Thank you for checking out my profile. It can be hard to find the right therapist so hopefully this information about me will help you decide. My main aim is for you to get the most out of therapy; therefore I will do my best to achieve this. I will do this by using my communication and therapeutic skills when working together, building trust and confidence for you to achieve the outcome you are after. I also pride myself in asking the right probing questions; for me therapy is not just about talking; it is also about processing and creating long lasting change.
I offer CBT and EMDR therapy to individuals who want support with managing life's challenges, including adapting my approach to people who may be on the autism/ADHD spectrum. I work in a non-judgmental way, offering an empathic space. My specialties are varied; trauma, PTSD, driving and travel anxiety, anxieties, phobias, depression, low self-esteem etc.
My professional aim is to make you feel listened to, confident to share and grounded, in what could be a vulnerable space.
