Are you worried or overwhelmed? I support individuals living with and grappling with the uncertainties of cancer, and offer a space for you away from friends/family. Do you need somewhere to come and just be? I work with you as you are without shame and provide ongoing support when perhaps daily life is really hard. If you want to we can look together at any distressing emotions and make sense of where they might come from. Clients usually find that making the decision to come to counselling gives hope, a sense of connection and feelings of being understood.
I have over 20 years experience working with vulnerable individuals and a background as a registered nurse. We work together towards building resilience as well as inner strength and healing.
I use a calm, warm and gentle approach working together with you to explore and help and make some sense of whatever emotions/feelings and thoughts that you bring to our sessions. I work in an open ended way. Some clients find longer term therapy helpful and some find just a few sessions are enough, what works best for you is the most important.
