Hello, I’m Fiona. I am a UKCP accredited Child Psychotherapist, and Adult Psychotherapeutic Counsellor. I can draw on different theories to help support you, with whatever it is you are going through. You may need practical help and coping strategies, or to talk and make sense of certain problems in your life. You may want to explore deeper, into patterns of behaviour, which have stopped you being your 'authentic self.' I can offer a safe confidential space without any judgement. I have experience of working with a wide age range of children and adults and in a variety of settings including; schools, charities and a GP surgery.
I have specialist knowledge of working with children and families suffering from domestic abuse. I also have experience of working with a wide range of issues such as bereavement, loss, anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, and many difficult childhood experiences, including, self-harm or emotionally based school avoidance (EBSA), trauma and PTSD.
I know beginning therapy can be daunting, choosing the right therapist can be difficult and it’s important that you feel comfortable and are able to be yourself.
