I am an HCPC registered Practitioner Psychologist and EMDR therapist offering one to one integrated EMDR therapy to adults. My belief is that the relationship between client and therapist is the most important part of therapy and I strive to build a connection based on trust, warmth, acceptance, and integrity. I have a naturally warm and empathic style which allows clients to feel comfortable and safe. My passion is helping people overcome the bad things that have happened to them in a compassionate, non-judgemental way.
As an integrative EMDR therapist, I will work with you to develop a shared understanding of your life, its significant events and relationships. We will develop an individualised treatment plan designed to help you process difficult past events and develop a more compassionate view of yourself to enable you to live the life you want in the future.
I have 19 years of experience of working with a variety of clients including those with personality difficulties, neurodiversity, complex PTSD and clients with forensic histories. I have worked in the Prison Service and the NHS. I have my own dedicated therapy room which provides a quiet, comfortable, calm space.
