People come to counselling for many different reasons. Usually, they've tried to deal with their issues and problems by themselves and managed to get by or cope. Sometimes, these burdens feel too much to bear and what used to work no longer does. If you are feeling stuck, powerless, and exhausted maybe counselling can help. "You can not heal what has not been revealed" as the saying goes - so being in an environment where you can express your thoughts and feelings without humiliation, shame, or guilt is the first step in ridding yourself of the burdens that are holding you back.
I have worked with many different clients all of whom are unique in how they experience the world. I specialise in: substance abuse disorders; addiction; PTSD and childhood trauma; men's well-being; workplace stress and anxiety. And of course, sometimes we just don't know what's wrong with us, maybe talking it out might just help.
I am a trained Counsellor and Coach, I can help you move towards your goals and aspirations whilst helping you unravel elements of your past that may be holding you back. I offer an initial 20-minute free consultation so we can find out more about each other. Sessions are 60 minutes and the timing is flexible to suit your schedule.
