Our consciousness is like a small candle in vast darkness; we must not let it go out. Sometimes when we are faced with life challenges, our mind falters like a candle in the wind; we are confused, sad, angry, or agitated, and at times like this we need listening ears to listen to us and help us decipher our experiences to make sense of what is causing these emotional reactions and pain. Sometimes, confusion and contamination of our minds can be brought about by broken relationships, job loss, bereavement, mental illness, toxic relations, racism, oppression, wrong religious beliefs, divorce and cultural influences to mention a few.
In finding self, one comes to understand that it's vital not to look at a gift horse in the mouth because we are all unique, and are all on different journeys in life. My first awakening of the sufferings of humanity was aroused when I started an employment agency for people from my black community grassroots, ever since I have committed to helping causes.
I will offer you unconditional positive regard, and sometimes be a spot of bother, in a relationship with me to help you understand, process, and make connections with yourself. It is in talking through your emotional experiences, telling your story, and encountering therapy with me in a non-judgemental space, that the rubber meets the road to finding self.
