I am a Group Analyst with spaces in a group in the Bath area. I am an Accredited member of BACP and a member of UKCP. I am a psychotherapist with nearly 20 years experience working in organisations helping people with complex issues and difficult family situations. I have a long experience of working with people who have a traumatic or troubled early history. I am used to thinking together with people about what has happened and what they might want. It is often when relationships with family or within the world of work become difficult, that people might seek help from a group. A group gives a chance to rethink potential patterns.
We all start off in groups and Group Analysis is a form of therapy based on the idea that our difficulties happen in relation to others and society as a whole. We focus on what is happening in the group room, in order to make different choices and lasting change. You may find that the sense of belonging that a group can provide is healing in itself.
The group is once weekly and held in a fully accessible room on the outskirts of Bath. The location is on a regular bus route and there is also plenty of parking. Do please email or call me if you would like to know more . I will be happy to hear from you and answer your questions and set up a time to talk.
