About
Are you struggling to get through each day? Feeling anxious and scared in these uncertain times? Has the lockdown exacerbated difficulties in your relationships? Have you experienced grief or loss? No-one gets through life unscathed. It’s normal to feel distressed, overwhelmed or stuck. I have plenty of life experience as well as professional training so you can trust me to talk about anything that’s troubling you. I’ll meet you with warmth and kindness because I know that when you are heard and understood and accepted for who you are you can make changes that are right for you.
As a person-centred counsellor, I believe the power to change rests with you, not me. It's an approach that works well whether you're struggling with anxiety or depression, a painful life event such as bereavement or divorce, a traumatic experience such as physical, sexual or emotional abuse or difficulties with personal or work relationships.
Taking the first steps towards change can be tough. At this low point in your life, you may be wondering if counselling is right for you - or if I'm the right counsellor. I try to make things a little easier with a free, no-strings-attached initial session. This helps you decide if I meet your needs and we're a good fit.
