Life can be a rough ride. Keeping the balance and moving forward can be a challenge. It can involve stress, anxiety, depression and much more. But I believe through psychological therapies we can learn and, in some cases even master, the art of managing life successfully. To achieve this, I practise an integrative approach that draws strength from various therapies in the field. I am a qualified Psychotherapist at a Doctoral level and I feel confident to deal with complexity . My natural inclination is to help people in need. My recent training and qualifications do enhance my inclination especially to those psychologically unwell.

I work with parents/carers who feel emotionally overwhelmed, burnt out, or stuck in patterns that feel hard to change. They may be managing anxiety, stress, low mood, or the impact of past experiences while supporting children with emotional or neurodivergent needs. They want understanding, clarity, and practical support not judgement or pressure and are looking for a calm, trauma-informed space to make sense of what’s happening and find a way forward that feels manageable and compassionate.
I also support young people and families using dyadic developmental pareneting approach and PACE (Play, Acceptance, Curiosity and Empathy)

Life could be better so much better. I know right? You have this sense that if you could figure some personal complexities out then that fulfillment that eludes you would be within your grasp. Well it can, but sometimes it needs a depth space, one that aligns with your need to go deeper, perhaps you've tried therapy before? I'm not saying I'm an expert but my gift, as others have said, is that I can go there with you and language that which is hard to express. Others say I'm very easy to talk to, that I genuinely care, this isn't a job but a calling, that's my truth - I want to know - I care to know and help you find yourself.

Having ADHD naturally led me to specialise in those who suspect or know they have ADHD.
Many of my clients present to me with anxiety, low-confidence or specific mental health issues. Goals are often to feel happier, cope better at work or in relationships. Steps to achieving this tend to centre around better understanding of self and identifying what barriers we have constructed that keep us stuck.
Instead of seeing an insurmountable wall, in many cases there's an opportunity for growth. My job is to help you figure out how to take your first steps and overcome fear and negativity. Often, the very first is asking for help.

You are not broken. You may be feeling emotional pain, distress, or psychological strain, but that doesn’t mean you are damaged. These responses often reflect your strength and resilience. What you're experiencing is an emotional build-up, not a breakdown. You might be living with anxiety, depression, grief, low self-worth, or trauma. Over time, you may have built defences to cope and protect yourself. These patterns helped you survive, but they are not your truest self. Healing begins by gently reconnecting with the parts of you that have been hidden, and making space for who you truly are.

When should I seek treatment for ADHD?
You should seek treatment for ADHD if you consistently have difficulty with attention, hyperactivity, or impulsivity that interferes with your daily life. Symptoms of ADHD include the inability to sustain attention during tasks, difficulty organizing tasks and activities, being easily distracted, frequent fidgeting or squirming, and talking or interrupting excessively. If these symptoms interfere with your career, academics, or relationships—for example, consistently failing to complete professional projects on time—you should seek an evaluation for ADHD.
How does treatment for ADHD work?
Effective treatment for ADHD often consists of medication, behavioural therapy, and lifestyle changes. Stimulant medications such as Adderall and Ritalin work by altering levels of neurotransmitters in the brain; higher levels of dopamine and norepinephrine are known to improve attention and focus. Therapy works by helping people with ADHD understand the condition, discuss their areas of difficulty, and develop behavioral strategies to manage their symptoms. In some cases, modifying one’s diet and exercise can also help improve symptoms.
How long does treatment for ADHD take?
It’s tough to give an exact time frame because everyone varies. In terms of medications, stimulants begin to work very soon after you take them, generally within the hour. It may take time to identify the right medication and dosage, but the medication itself is fast-acting. In terms of therapy, it takes time to develop skills and put them into practice, but you will likely see improvements within a few weeks or months.
