Feeling overwhelmed, exhausted, or not quite like yourself during times of change? Whether you’re navigating menopause, questioning your identity, or moving through life transitions, you don’t have to face it alone. Life’s changes can bring anxiety, overwhelm, brain fog, loss of confidence, or burnout. They may also reveal neurodivergent traits such as ADHD or autism. Experiences like children leaving home, caring for ageing parents, relationship or career changes, and shifts in identity, body image, or sexuality can all impact how you see yourself.

Are you an individual looking for an experienced counsellor who can work with a wide range of issues? Perhaps you have experienced difficulty in your relationship or life and want to work through, heal from and process this in therapy. If you are struggling with relationships, loss, stress, or feeling lost and overwhelmed, you might feel like you’re stuck, don’t know where to turn or how to move forward. Sometimes we don’t know what to say, how to say it or even fully understand what we are feeling; it’s often not just one thing that we are feeling but a complex mix of different emotions. Our sessions together will give you the opportunity to be heard, to explore your emotions and unpick the difficulties you are having.

I am an integrative psychotherapist and registered member of the BACP. My integrative approach to therapy not only reflects my ability to draw from different therapeutic modalities, but also my endeavour to support clients towards their own personal integration. I strive to help clients to meet, understand and accept within themselves the different and nuanced parts of themselves. I offer respect and empathy to my clients, whilst at the same time gently nudging them towards areas of self-exploration that they may otherwise struggle to look at on their own.

Are you experiencing feelings of stress, low Self-esteem, anxiety or depression? Do you feel overwhelmed by your thoughts, or do you overthink everything? Are you suffering from feelings of panic and you’re not sure why? I can support you with these issues and we can unravel piece by piece all these thoughts and feelings that don’t seem to make any sense. It can be enormously helpful to talk things through with a professional person who is unconnected with your family and friends.

I believe that the therapeutic relationship is the most important aspect of therapy. To provide a space where you feel safe, respected and never judged. I am an trained in various therapies including cbt therapy. Sometimes life throws us a curve ball and getting up everyday and doing everyday things is a struggle sometimes we need someone to walk through the dark times with us and to remind us we are not alone and things can and will get better. I am also a qualified coach and work with women that have experienced abuse. Alongside my therapy practice, i am also a supervisor and have 22 years of experience supporting therapists.

You may be finding life difficult at the moment and feeling anxious or sad. Struggling to focus and worrying about falling behind, you're working hard but, feel like you're getting nowhere. Great at sorting out other people's dramas, you're the first one friends and family turn to in a crisis, but you never seem to find the time or the energy to focus on you. You may notice familiar patterns repeating, sabotaging your work, studies and personal relationships and preventing you from reaching your goals. Painful past experiences are encroaching on the present, and you're wondering if therapy might help you get back on track.

You are professionally capable and privately running on empty. You might be neurodivergent, navigating a world that was not built for your brain. You might be LGBTQIA+, still carrying the quiet cost of years spent not quite fitting. You might be a French expat, perfectly fluent and somehow still lost in translation. Or you might be in a relationship that used to feel like home and now feels like a negotiation. You are done performing. You are done being the version of yourself that everyone else finds easier. You are here because something has to change.

Hi, I’m Cat, a BACP Counsellor/Therapist, here to offer a safe and supportive space where you can be truly heard. Life can feel overwhelming, and sometimes we lose sight of ourselves through no fault of our own. My focus is not on “what’s wrong with you,” but on “what’s happened to you.” Together we can explore your experiences, build self-awareness, and develop compassion for yourself

I offer talking therapy in a confidential, safe and relaxing environment. It may be easier to talk about personal issues, in an alternative place, with someone who is not involved and is totally non-judgemental. Counselling is my passion! I believe we were born to be real...not perfect. My belief in the process, how it works and in particular how the working alliance can help you to move forward never stops.

Divorce Counsellors
How does therapy for people affected by a divorce work?
Individuals may feel a number of emotions following a divorce, such as shock, guilt, grief, anger, and fear. Therapists offer a non-judgmental space for individuals to talk about what they’ve experienced and process their emotions. Therapists will help clients develop coping strategies. They can also help a client rebuild their sense of self and self-worth and talk about what a happier future might look like.

What’s the most common type of therapy following a divorce?
There are several types of therapy that may be useful for divorce, including cognitive behavioural, acceptance and commitment, solution-focused brief, and mindfulness-based therapies. Many therapy types are talk-therapy based, which is typically the most popular option for individuals dealing with divorce. Cognitive behavioural therapy is a widely-used talk therapy, however, there’s no specific therapy type that’s designed to help people with divorce, and different types will work depending on the person.

When should an individual seek help due to a divorce?
When the feelings of a divorced individual, or an individual going through the process of divorce, begin to disrupt healthy daily functioning, it may be a good time to look into therapy. If a person finds that they are not performing at work due to problems with anxiety or motivation, if they’re no longer seeing friends due to feelings of shame, or if they’re not properly taking care of themselves as a result of depression, speaking to a professional could help.

How do you encourage someone to go to therapy due to a divorce?
It’s helpful to express concern and love for the individual while framing therapy as a tool for improving their life. Sharing how the individual appears to be suffering, and what effects it has on them or on their children, should be done with compassion and empathy. It may be useful to devise a game plan—breaking the process down into parts, such as finding a therapist, making appointments, and looking into insurance coverage.
