Feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or disconnected? You don’t have to navigate it alone. Counselling isn’t just about talking—it’s about being truly heard, feeling understood, and discovering a way forward that makes sense for you. Whether you’re experiencing anxiety, depression, stress, low self-esteem, relationship issues, or a general sense that life has lost direction, I’m here to support you. When everything feels too much, it can be hard to think clearly or know what to do next. Together, we can make sense of what you're feeling, uncover what’s holding you back, and start building the life you want.

Life can be challenging, especially in todays ever changing world. I have a wealth of experience from my own life journey. I have 3 degrees, which cover behaviour, neuroscience and the spiritual or transpersonal. Through counselling we can work together, to enhance your wellbeing, expand your awareness and raise your consciousness. I offer a place to get away from everything and talk while feeling safe without judgement. This can be a place to process what has gone on and learn how the world is perceived uniquely by you. Or if preferred online sessions that suit you.

Do you wish to confidentially think about changes you need in your life. I offer the opportunity to work alongside you short term or in depth to explore your needs fully, and support you in your journey. Do you have an emotional difficulty that you are finding hard to come to terms with? My role is to offer empathy, understanding, kindness and help you to simply cope with life, or towards changing it. Giving you the space and opportunity to feel heard.

Have you reached a point in life where you feel invisible, or unsure of your place in the world? Perhaps your children have grown up, your career has shifted, or relationships have changed, leaving you questioning your purpose and where you fit in now. Do you have older relatives who you are responsible for, or has someone you love died and you're struggling with grief? If so, you’re not alone – and you don’t need to navigate this chapter by yourself.

Sometimes our lives are interrupted by events, changing circumstances and personal challenges. Having a trusting and non-judgemental relationship with a caring professional, can enable you to work through such difficult times and move forward. We can work together to explore your current situation in a safe, non-directive and confidential way. This will give you the opportunity to reflect, question, process, allow for change, or whatever you feel is necessary at this time. If what you need is someone to listen unconditionally and respectfully, as you find your way on your journey, then we can work together.

If you’re done with old, worn-out stories of what came before, take my hand. If you’re feeling stuck, dwelling on the past, dissecting and reflecting long after gaining the lessons there, take my hand. If you know it's time to close the book and begin anew, open and excited for what comes next, take my hand. If within the excitement you find you are also frightened, unsure and doubtful, yes, come take my hand. This only means you're about to do something worthwhile and brave, and you are remembering what it’s like to truly feel alive again. Let's take a deep breath and begin, let's walk this journey together, I'm here to listen.

I have experience and specialise in helping clients heal from trauma and adverse childhood events, navigate relationship difficulties (including dating app dilemmas), patterns of attachment and help to build self-esteem and confidence. My approach is warm, non-judgmental, and insight-driven, helping my clients understand how past experiences may be impacting their life today, and more importantly, what they can do to move forward. Feeling stuck in life can stop us from being the best version of ourselves, and while we can't change the past, we can most certainly influence what happens next.

FAQ - Therapist Gender
Does it matter what gender my therapist is?
In general, there is no relationship between a therapist’s gender and their efficacy. Some clients, however, prefer to see therapists of a particular gender, whether due to their own past experiences with men and women, or because they feel more comfortable with a therapist of their own gender due to shared life experiences or perspectives. Considering what one wants to address in therapy can help someone determine whether their therapist’s gender may matter or improve their therapeutic experience. The most important consideration is that a client is able to build a trusting relationship with their therapist.

Should I see a female therapist?
Many people—not just women—prefer to see a female therapist. For women, this could be because they believe that they will be able to better connect with a woman, and that a female therapist will be able to relate to their specific challenges and personal issues. It may be particularly beneficial for women to see a female therapist, for example, for gender-specific issues, such as sexism in the workplace, relationship issues, and gender roles. The most important factor in therapy is the client-therapist connection, and a therapist's gender as well as many other factors may play an important role in this.

Do therapists get specific training to help with women’s concerns?
Therapists are trained to provide care to clients of any gender. However, some therapists may pursue additional training in feminist therapy, gender-specific issues, or women’s mental health. Female clients may wish to ask prospective therapists whether they have received specific training in the client’s primary area(s) of concern, or whether they have worked extensively with women on issues similar to their own.

How can I inquire about a therapist’s experience in treating women?
It’s OK—even encouraged!—to ask a therapist directly whether and how often they have treated women in the past, or whether they have treated women dealing with the client’s most prominent concern(s). Competent therapists will be happy to share their educational background, preferred treatment modalities, and prior client experience to help an individual find the therapist best suited to their needs.
