I work with you; your experiences, feelings, concerns, anxieties, challenges, hopes, and potential. My approach helps you to recognise when feelings are out of balance with experiences and make changes accordingly. My work aims to help you find a way that you can understand and use to navigate life's challenges through working relationally to better understand your own potential. Prior to qualifying as a counsellor I worked in executive and leadership positions helping me to understand the struggles and stress associated with a demanding and insecure workplace.

You may appear to be coping well on the outside — managing work, family, and responsibilities — yet inside feel anxious, overwhelmed, or quietly dissatisfied. Many people seek therapy when what once worked no longer does, particularly during midlife or periods of change. You might be questioning your direction, struggling with stress or low self-esteem, or feeling disconnected from yourself or others despite outward success. Perhaps you’re tired of “pushing through” and want space to understand what’s really going on beneath the surface. I offer a calm, confidential space where we can explore what feels stuck and unprocessed.

There are many of life's challenges which might bring us to therapy; you may be feeling low, anxious or in need of some support; you may have been or going through an experience in your life which you are struggling to navigate. You may find yourself using coping mechanisms which may not be so healthy for you; or you would like life to be different but just not sure how or how to get there. Whatever brings you to therapy, I am here to be alongside you as you learn more about yourself and move towards a more fulfilling place in your life.

Welcome. Whatever has brought you to scroll these profiles, the right therapeutic relationship can help you be heard, seen and understood. The journey often starts in a place of discomfort: anxiety, bereavement, feeling lost, stuck or frustrated with repeated patterns of behaviour that you can't seem to shift (in life and relationships), physical or mental health problems or the pain of old wounds that haven't healed. These crisis moments are often a call to personal growth and development, and sometimes to find a new path in life. I can offer you a safe and non-judgemental space to explore your situation and begin to move forward.

I support individuals and couples from diverse backgrounds, including those in intimate relationships, marriages, family dynamics , friendships, and professional relationships. My goal is to help you feel more understood and less conflicted, Emotional difficulties rarely exist in isolation and therapy can help you make sense of how they can be interconnected. Anxiety can affect relationships, past experiences can shape self-esteem, and life changes can bring everything to the surface. These affect your personal inner world including your self-confidence and how you respond to change and stress in your relationships.

Have you been feeling you're stuck in a rut, you have no one you can talk to in confidence without being judged.   You may be struggling with anxiety, a lack of clarity and questioning your own identity with others, leading to low self-esteem and self-worth, and with no sense of direction.

Transpersonal Counsellors
How does transpersonal therapy work?
Transpersonal therapy focuses on a patient’s spirituality and meaning in life. Transpersonal therapists might borrow from Eastern traditions as well as Western psychology. They may incorporate techniques including meditation, visualisation, hypnotherapy, dream analysis, and or breathwork to produce altered states of consciousness. The therapist helps the patient to access their consciousness and spirituality to work through difficult mental states.

How long does transpersonal therapy last?
Because the goal is to understand a person as a whole, including their spirituality, treatment can range from months to a year or beyond. While patients learn the philosophy behind transpersonal therapy during treatment, they can also practice its principles throughout life after therapy sessions have ended.

Is transpersonal therapy effective?
Patients have found success with transpersonal therapy; this method is useful in improving anxiety, depression, self-esteem, identity, fears, relationship problems, and other concerns. Improvements in problem areas can continue even after transpersonal therapy ends, as individuals can utilise the tools they’ve learned during treatment sessions.

What are the limitations of transpersonal therapy?
There is some research on the effectiveness of transpersonal therapy, but empirical support for this therapy approach is sparse. It does not have the robust evidence base of other forms of therapy, such as cognitive behavioural therapy or acceptance and commitment therapy.
