There may be events which have occurred or are anticipated to occur which leave us feeling anxious, ill, overwhelmed, stressed, frightened, unsure, on the edge of burn out or like our very foundation has been shaken, and we need some help to process it all. Or we may not even know why we are feeling the way we do. Sometimes things can feel unmentionable to family and friends or events have occurred which no-one wants to talk about anymore or we need the skill, support and confidentiality of somebody who will understand what we are struggling with and who is equipped to help us. That’s when therapy can be really valuable.

I provide therapeutic services for individuals, young people, as well as couples. I offer a safe and confidential space online and in Tunbridge Wells to work on a short or long term basis depending on your need. If you haven't had counselling before, the thought of talking to a stranger about something that's troubling you can seem frightening. You may have an idea of the changes you want to make, or simply be aware that you want something in your life to be different without being sure how to achieve this. I am qualified to practise Transactional Analysis psychotherapy and can support you to initiate the changes you seek to make.

Sometimes things just don’t feel right. You might be struggling to work out who you are and what you want or finding it hard to cope with life’s challenges – feeling stressed, unfulfilled or stuck. Maybe you've been deeply affected by specific events and loss – perhaps the death of a loved one, relationship breakdown, redundancy or illness. Is what you're experiencing affecting your relationships and behaviour and bringing painful feelings, including anger, sadness, vulnerability, guilt and shame, sometimes leaving you anxious and depressed? I am committed to supporting clients wishing to address challenging personal issues.

Hi, I’m Louise. I specialise in working with individuals who feel weighed down by past experiences whether it’s emotional abuse, narcissistic abuse, toxic relationships, or divorce. Many of my clients come to therapy feeling stuck in patterns of low self-esteem, anxiety, and codependency. You may find yourself struggling with confidence, people-pleasing, or difficulty setting boundaries. Together, we’ll explore what you may still be carrying from the past those lingering memories, emotions, and thought patterns that impact your daily life and relationships and release whatever is holding you back from feeling fulfilled and happy.

I am passionate about Transactional Analysis as a powerful and accessible approach to understanding ourselves and creating meaningful change. I work relationally, placing the therapeutic relationship at the heart of the process. Alongside TA, I integrate Focusing into my practice - a somatic method that helps access the non-verbal messages held within the body. I have also recently begun working with Clients outdoors - eco-therapy, where we ‘walk & talk’. I have over 300 hours of client experience. I work both online and in person.

Perhaps you’re a teenager or young adult, who experiences physical symptoms of anxiety (such as stomach aches or racing heart), which make you want to avoid certain situations. Or maybe you’re a parent or guardian, eager to get the best support for a loved one who struggles with anxious thoughts or behaviours. Rest assured, you’ve come to the right place. I care. My interest in providing timely treatment for difficulties such as these is the reason why I founded Flourishing Futures Psychology. I too was prone to getting tangled up with anxiety when I was younger, so I know how it can try to trip you up.

H&N Psychology (Health and Neuro Psychology Services) is a private service offering psychological therapy and educational groups for individuals struggling with their mental health or adjusting to life after illness or injury, or for those with a diagnosis of ADHD/Autism/AuDHD. It grew out of years of Dr Atkin and Dr Woollard working side by side in the NHS, supporting people in busy hospital settings, and learning first-hand what really helps. We’ve found that the most meaningful change happens when there’s space for genuine collaboration. We clearly set out a plan for our sessions and timelines so you know what to expect.

Website: rhodascantleburycounselling.co.uk Counselling gives you your own time and space to consider what is going on, who you are and who you want to be. The possibility of time and space might feel important because you're currently experiencing something where your own resources no longer feel sufficient to cope. Perhaps you see that you're responding to situations with more anxiety, anger or distress than feels entirely manageable, or it may be that you're feeling very little and have a sense of being out of touch with yourself or others. I offer psychodynamic therapy for people who are carrying the weight of trauma, particularly complex relational trauma and sexual trauma. There are experiences that don't just live in the memory, but live in the body, in relationships, and in parts of you that feel 'too much' or 'not enough'. I also work with generalised issues such as stress, anxiety, depression. The way I work is gentle, warm and compassionate. Together, we can create a space that feels safe and trustworthy to really explore you as a person, and to find ways of empowering you to explore what feels more aligned to who you really are.
