I became a counsellor through my own journey with addiction, trauma, ADHD, and never feeling good enough.
I help you to stop overthinking, manage anxiety, and break the patterns that leave you stuck. You'll feel calmer, more confident, and in control. Together we’ll unpack what’s holding you back, process the trauma, silence the inner critic & negative thoughts, rebuild trust in yourself, and get you moving towards solid relationships & a life that feels good.

I understand how hard it can be trying to decide which counsellor is right for you and to find a counsellor who you can trust and confide in and feel comfortable enough to be completely open with. We are all drawn to different counsellors and finding the right match is really important. It needs to be someone who you can relate to, who gets you, who listens to the detail and tries to help you uncover and understand how you are feeling in a patient and gentle way. I believe that establishing and building trust is key for the counselling relationship to develop.

I offer expert online Supervision to other therapists and specialise with people on the Autistic spectrum and with ADHD.
You don't need to have any special ability in such 'Arts' - they are just helpful tools aiding access to the unconscious and getting straight to the root of an issue. We will together then set about transforming harmful narratives in an environment that is safe and facilitating.

Although we all face ups and downs throughout life, there are transitional phases which can present challenges to any of us. Be that, teenage years and into adulthood, or physical and emotional changes experienced by women each month, peri/post-natal and menopause. You may be struggling with an undiagnosed disorder or have been diagnosed, finding it difficult to come to terms with, and wondering what this means for you going forward. I also work with older adults who are transitioning into the latter part of their life and the challenges this can bring. These transitions can produce feelings of anxiety, depression and feeling stuck.

Seeking out support can be challenging at the best of times, especially if you don’t know where to start. My hope is to make it as easy as possible to find out if I'm the right person to help you. I offer a free consultation call with all enquiries, so reach out by email and we’ll go from there. I truly believe the therapeutic journey is one that we create together and should be tailored to you as an individual. Whether you need short-term focused therapy to help with a current problem, long-term therapy to support unpacking a series of events in your life, or you don’t even quite know yet, it is all valid and I’m happy to discuss.

I am passionate about working with children and young people and have spent many years working within the educational sector. As adults we sometimes have better coping mechanisms or ways in which to self help, however children do not always have those skills. So I feel it is extremely important to be there to help guide and listen, to help better understand themselves and situations that may appear. I also work with adults helping to explore anxieties and stresses of every day life, within home, work or personally.

These are the main issues I help with: change, anxiety and burnout, overwhelm, ADHD traits, trauma, loss and identity or relational challenges.
You look like you’re coping. But inside, something feels off. You might be overthinking everything, feeling anxious or overwhelmed, burnt out from holding too much for too long, questioning your direction, identity, or going through a period of change. Your life doesn’t follow a straight line. And you’re starting to realise the usual advice doesn’t quite fit. Rather than trying to “fix” you, we work to understand you. Together, we: make sense of your patterns; understand how your past experiences are shaping your present and build a way of living that works for you - not against you. So you can move on with clarity and choice.

Welcome. If you’re reading this then I imagine something in your life feels too hard to face alone. Maybe it’s a difficult relationship? A stressful work life? Some painful family dynamics? Or perhaps you’re feeling overwhelmed by past events and patterns that seem to keep repeating themselves? Whatever you’re struggling with, therapy is a place to be fully heard, understood, and supported; where your inner world can be expressed without fear or shame. A safe space where you can make sense of what you feel including the emotions you have learned to suppress and the things you are carrying alone.

It is common to experience emotional distress in life from time-to-time, but sometimes we need help with managing this. Difficulties can range from a general feeling of low mood or anxiety, the pressure of challenging life events such as loss or relationship-breakdown, or coming to terms with historical events. As a qualified Psychodynamic Psychotherapist, I will provide a safe and supportive environment so that you feel able to explore your current thoughts and feelings by drawing from past experiences. From here, we can try to understand their impact on your present, and consider how you might wish to move forward.
