Welcome. I provide talking therapy to help adults, teenagers and young people, age 11 +. Life can be challenging and I work with clients facing the demands of a range of issues including stress and anxiety, pressure of work and demands, mid-life crisis, bereavement, traumatic loss and change. Student life can be stressful and I am experienced in working with overwhelming emotions, relationships and the stress of exams and expectations, so that you can find strategies for a positive way forward.
I believe positive change is always possible and I work within professional and ethical guidelines to offer a safe space and a therapeutic relationship within which clients may find their way through their individual challenges, harness their inner strength, identify solutions, and enhance their mental wellbeing.
I am trained in the Person-Centred Approach and this means that you, the client, are at the heart of the therapeutic process. You decide the direction, tempo, goals and priorities for the counselling. I provide the space, gentle challenge and professional capability to support you on your therapeutic journey.
