My specialism is Sex and Relationship Therapy.
This is an extremely troubling time, I am experienced in working online. I work with Individuals and couples with anxiety, depression and finding ways of coping. Talking about sex, sexuality and relationships can be extremely difficult. Our own feelings of shame can keep us feeling trapped and feel that there is nowhere to go. I offer a non judgemental space to be able to talk sensitively working to resolve issues. We will agree the focus of the work from the outset and keep this in mind throughout the journey together. We will work together to facilitate change in the areas you feel are needed.

Perhaps you are trying to cope with a bereavement or have suffered another loss such as the breakdown of a relationship.

Counselling is always at the heart of what I do, and as an experienced integrative counsellor I am able to help you with your concerns by drawing on a range of theoretical approaches depending on what your individual needs are during each session that we work together.

At times we all experience symptoms of anxiety, stress, depression, low self esteem/confidence, anger or have family or relationship issues which make us feel alone and scared.
I can offer you a safe counselling space. A place where we can talk and get to know each other. We will seek to understand the problems you are facing, whether this is caused by current issues or events from your past and we look at how we might alleviate them. We will use your existing strengths and develop new skills to understand and empower yourself.

It is very important to feel comfortable working with a counsellor with whom you have a relationship built upon trust, openness and honesty, where you feel at ease and accepted without judgement.
The Covid-19 pandemic has brought about an increase in anxiety (GAD) and depression for many people, particularly those of school and college age. I have experience of working with young people (11-18years), adults and couples with issues such as anxiety, gender and sexuality and low seIf-esteem. I also work with couples experiencing relationship issues.

By building a powerful therapeutic relationship I help create profound lasting change, developing increased self-awareness and self-compassion.
Are you seeking confidential support to explore and voice challenging or painful thoughts, feelings or behaviours? Perhaps you feel limited by deeply entrenched harmful patterns of relating, preventing you from meaningful and positive relationships? Do you find your boundaries frequently trampled over, leaving you sacrificing your sense of self and risking your capacity to protect your own needs? I can help you begin unravelling what you need from counselling and untangling the complex threads restricting your happiness and wellbeing. The way I work offers space and empathy for your thoughts and feelings to evolve and unfold.

A successful counseling relationship is established through the creation of an authentic and confidential space between the client and therapist.
Counseling offers clients a unique space that is often elusive in the realm of everyday relationships. It is important to note that counselling is not centred around providing advice or opinions; rather, it focuses on guiding the client towards discovering their own solutions.

If you have a specific type of approach that you know works for you, we can explore that together and what that will look like within our relationship.
Are you okay? But are you really okay? Have things been hard lately? Do you think speaking about it might help?

As a relational therapist at the heart of my work the relationship we create is valued and explored as is the relationship with yourself and others.
When you are feeling overwhelmed by difficult past or present experiences, thoughts and feelings talking to someone who will listen can help. Are you feeling alone in this? you don't have to. I offer a confidential, empathic and non-judgemental space in which together we can explore what is causing your distress and a way forward at your pace. Whilst fostering clarity and self-awareness, I bring a warm, calm and compassionate approach to my work in which my client feels supported and empowered. I have a passionate belief in the human capacity for change and growth and in the power of therapy to nurture this for my clients.

I put great importance on my relationship with my clients.
I’m a fully qualified, BACP registered professional who can work with you face to face in my therapy room, or online. I understand as unique as we all are, our need from therapy is also unique. Some people prefer long term therapy, whilst some may require a few sessions, or short-term approaches.

Relationship Issues Counsellors
While the need for human connection appears to be innate, the ability to form healthy, loving relationships is learned. Some evidence suggests that the ability to form a stable relationship starts to form in infancy, in a child's earliest experiences with a caregiver who reliably meets the infant's needs for food, care, warmth, protection, stimulation, and social contact. Such relationships are not destiny, but they are theorized to establish deeply ingrained patterns of relating to others. The end of a relationship, however, is often a source of great psychological anguish.
