As a CBT therapist, I can support you in overcoming mental health and emotional challenges by helping you identify and reframe negative thought patterns and behaviours that are keeping you stuck. Together, we'll develop practical coping strategies tailored to your unique circumstances and goals that you can take away and be yours forever. By setting realistic objectives, we can create a clear path toward your desired outcomes, whether that’s reducing anxiety, improving self-esteem and mood, or managing stress. I am afraid I only accept referrals from individuals over the age of 17 years.

Hi, I'm Julie, and I am passionate about working with people who have experienced abuse or trauma, whether it be sexual, physical or emotional. When we experience trauma we lose part of who we truly are because of the after effects, such as anxiety, depression, panic attacks, nervous system disregulation, flashbacks and dissociation (when we feel distanced from our emotions or ‘spaced out’, as if we’re living on autopilot). I love helping people rediscover who they really are by creating an environment in which they feel safe and completely accepted. I don't analyse you but with careful listening will know what we need to work on.

Hi, I’m Holly — a warm welcome. I work with people who spend much of their lives supporting others and are now feeling anxious, overwhelmed or emotionally stretched. This may include parents, carers, professionals in helping roles, or those navigating relationship difficulties. You may feel depleted, responsible for everyone else, or disconnected from your own needs. I offer a warm, down-to-earth and non-judgemental space where you can feel heard, make sense of what you are carrying, and reconnect with yourself. My approach is neurodiversity-affirming and inclusive. Therapy can offer space for you, too.

Hi, I'm Kim — a BABCP-accredited CBT therapist and EMDR practitioner with 16 years of NHS primary care experience. I work with people navigating anxiety, depression, OCD, trauma, and low self-esteem. What I love most about this work is that there's no one-size-fits-all — every person brings their own story, and I shape my approach around yours. Using CBT, we'll get practical: spotting the patterns keeping you stuck and building real strategies to shift them; e.g. ERP is particularly effective for OCD — gradually and safely exposing you to fears while resisting the urge to respond with compulsions, helping to break the cycle.

Maybe you’ve tried therapy - the worksheets, the apps, the coping tools that promised to help. If you’re neurodivergent or living with trauma, it’s no surprise those didn’t stick; survival mode needs more than a strategy. You might be here after a diagnosis, burnout, loss, or just years of masking that finally caught up with you. Either way, we start where you are - not where you think you’re “supposed” to be.

As a play therapist with a background in teaching and a Master’s degree in Play Therapy, I am deeply committed to supporting the emotional wellbeing of children and young people through therapeutic play and creative expression. I believe in the transformative power of play as a natural, intuitive medium through which children can safely explore and express their inner worlds, particularly those who have experienced trauma or adversity. Throughout my career, I have worked extensively with neurodivergent children and young people, many of whom face challenges in traditional school settings.

Hi, I’m Maddy. I'm a clinical psychologist with over ten years’ experience working in mental health services in the NHS. I am trained in CAT (Cognitive Analytic Therapy), EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing) and DBT (Dialectical Behaviour Therapy). I specialise in working with people who have experienced difficulties or trauma in their past which continue to affect them now. These kinds of experiences can lead to flashbacks, intense and overwhelming feelings, or feeling numb and disconnected. Experiences like these can also affect our relationships with ourselves and others.

Specialising in working with Anxiety and depression. At the heart of my practice is the therapeutic relationship. I offer a warm, non-judgemental space where you can feel heard, accepted and understood. I firmly believe that when we are met with genuine empathic understanding and non judgement, meaningful change becomes possible. I work from a trauma-informed perspective, collaboratively working with your 'here and now experience' and moving at your pace to help support you to explore and understand perhaps destructive, self limiting and confusing patterns of thoughts and behaviours with compassion and genuine curiosity.

I believe every person’s experience is valid and deserving of care. You might come to counselling feeling stuck, overwhelmed, disconnected, or unsure of why things feel heavy, or you may arrive wanting to gently explore past experiences, trauma, or long-held patterns that no longer serve you. You may have clear reasons for seeking support, or you may simply know that something doesn’t feel right and want a space to explore that without pressure or judgment. My role is to offer a safe, compassionate, and accepting space that adapts to what you need, where you are met as you are, at your own pace.
