Counselling in Hindi in Slough
Having worked for many years as a community pharmacist, I’ve seen how often mental health needs are overlooked—especially when cultural or religious backgrounds aren’t fully understood or respected. These experiences led me to train as a counsellor, so I could offer more supportive, inclusive care to those facing emotional challenges.

I work with families, couples and individuals. Specialising in relationships, anger, self-esteem issues, addictions and emotional difficulties, I help you have a better relationship with others as well as yourself. I work with you to explore and understand your struggles, repeating patterns and find ways to change them or adapt them to make them helpful. Couples tend to argue in a cyclic nature without ever resolving their arguments. I work with couples to understand this cycle and how to exit it. Individuals can also get stuck in repeating patterns. Examining them, understanding them and working through them brings change.

Are you curious about therapy but unsure where to begin? I understand how it feels to seek support and to take that first step. In our work together, I offer a compassionate space where we can explore what’s present for you at your own pace. Where helpful, I may gently introduce grounding practices to support regulation, awareness, and deeper healing, always in a way that feels respectful and optional for you. Sometimes in life you arrive at a point where you know that you need some help. The problems that you are facing are too much for you to overcome on your own. In particular, if you are a young adult, you are confronted with a unique set of challenges that needs someone who understands those challenges and has experience in helping you navigate your way through them. Whether it is bullying, or a feeling that you don't fit in, or whether it is depression and anxiety, stress or relationship problems or problems to do with gender and sexuality, I can offer you a safe place to explore these issues.

The experience of coming for therapy is an opportunity for you to discover for the first or subsequent time in life that you can let go of all the judgements, the fear and hesitation, and begin to talk about what is bothering you. We become wounded within a sense of connectedness - in families, relationships, friendships and society - and paradoxically it is within a sense of connectedness that we can begin to heal.
Psychotherapy with me offers an experience of relatedness, which unfolds in a way that it facilitates a fundamental change in the personality, including how you experience, respond to- or make meaning of life.

I began my professional journey as a Public Health doctor, where I developed a deep appreciation for the complex ways in which physical, emotional and social factors shape our wellbeing. Alongside this work, my own life experiences led me to seek counselling during a particularly challenging period.
I realised that counselling is not simply a place to “fix” problems. It is a powerful space to pause, reflect and make sense of what has been painful or confusing.
I found myself drawn to training as a counsellor to support healing and help reframe long-held patterns, and restore a sense of meaning and purpose for my clients.
