Therapy shouldn’t feel cold or clinical—it should feel like a space where you can exhale, feel supported, and start healing. I am a fully qualified therapist working with children, adults and young people. I provide support for a variety of challenges, including low mood, anxiety, trauma, self-esteem struggles, and relationship difficulties. I have experience working with neurodivergent clients. As a culturally sensitive therapist, I am particularly attuned to the unique experiences of Muslims in a western world, navigating faith, family expectations, and the balance between personal and cultural identities in a Western world.

Life can feel overwhelming at times, we can feel lost, low and alone. As a nurse, I looked after people in their most difficult moments, as they faced serious ill health and the end of their lives. People needed someone who could care for and be with them in the rawness of their pain. Now, as a counsellor, I bring this calm, compassionate presence to provide support with grief, loss, anxiety, and life changes that feel unbearable. You are important and deserve support. We can work together to heal at your pace on your terms in a safe place, slowing things down and gently finding a way forward.

Are you currently experiencing a sense of uncertainty? Do you feel that control is only a concept rather than a reality? You may be experiencing significant changes in your life that can lead to feelings of overwhelm as you try to understand yourself and navigate the world around you. This can be stressful and scary and you may feel that nobody listens to you and that nobody understands. This is where working with a trained, impartial counsellor provides a safe space to be heard, supported, and understood.

It might be ADHD, stress, relationships or just that stuck feeling that's hard to put into words.
No jargon, no one-size-fits-all plan, just a safe space where you can talk, be heard, and start to make sense of things. I work with adults, teens, pre-teens and couples around anxiety, depression, trauma, ADHD, stress, self-esteem and relationship struggles. Depending on what suits you best, we might use CBT, person-centred therapy, solution focused or EMDR

I also have experience and work often with those with diagnoses or traits of ADHD, Autism and other forms of neurodivergence.
I’m Olivia, a Level 7 therapist working with adults and young people. My approach is integrative and highly individualised, focusing on you as a whole person- your experiences, strengths, challenges and the meaning you make of them- rather than applying a one-size-fits-all model. I encourage you to share what feels supportive, what doesn’t, and what you need from our work together.

I work in a person-centred way, collaborating with my clients (usually with a brew in hand!) to explore your unique experiences, relationships or trauma- we can focus on your healing goals; perhaps improving current relationships, learning to understand & embrace your ADHD or Autism, or simply being able to tell your own powerful story in a safe non-judgemental space.
I specialise in working with clients with ADHD (with or without a diagnosis) and have completed ADHD-Certified Clinical Services Provider ( ADHD-CCSP) training. I also have my own lived experience of ADHD. I am also currently undertaking Certified Autism Spectrum Disorder Clinical Specialist Intensive Training (ASDCS).

I trained as a therapist to support people live happy and healthy lives and not to feel shackled by experiences and situations that can prevent them from enjoying the here and now and looking forwards to a happy future. We live for an average of 3 billion seconds, I would like to support everyone I work with use that time in the best possible way.

Whether it’s anxiety, low mood, ADHD, or something harder to name—I help people untangle things, spot patterns, and find more clarity and direction.
You might feel stuck, overwhelmed, or disconnected—from yourself, from others, or from what used to matter. Maybe you’re tired of repeating the same patterns, or struggling to make sense of your thoughts and emotions. You might not even know exactly what’s wrong—just that something isn’t sitting right. You’re looking for real change, not just surface-level advice. Therapy can help you get to the root of things, understand yourself better, and find a way forward that actually feels right for you.

When should I seek treatment for ADHD?
You should seek treatment for ADHD if you consistently have difficulty with attention, hyperactivity, or impulsivity that interferes with your daily life. Symptoms of ADHD include the inability to sustain attention during tasks, difficulty organizing tasks and activities, being easily distracted, frequent fidgeting or squirming, and talking or interrupting excessively. If these symptoms interfere with your career, academics, or relationships—for example, consistently failing to complete professional projects on time—you should seek an evaluation for ADHD.

How does treatment for ADHD work?
Effective treatment for ADHD often consists of medication, behavioural therapy, and lifestyle changes. Stimulant medications such as Adderall and Ritalin work by altering levels of neurotransmitters in the brain; higher levels of dopamine and norepinephrine are known to improve attention and focus. Therapy works by helping people with ADHD understand the condition, discuss their areas of difficulty, and develop behavioral strategies to manage their symptoms. In some cases, modifying one’s diet and exercise can also help improve symptoms.

How long does treatment for ADHD take?
It’s tough to give an exact time frame because everyone varies. In terms of medications, stimulants begin to work very soon after you take them, generally within the hour. It may take time to identify the right medication and dosage, but the medication itself is fast-acting. In terms of therapy, it takes time to develop skills and put them into practice, but you will likely see improvements within a few weeks or months.
