I am Dr Rebekah Dervley, a HCPC registered Psychologist. I am Clinical Lead for Sunstone Psychology - www.sunstonepsychology.co.uk - a psychological therapies service offering UK-wide psychological therapy and clinical supervision. I can offer you a safe and confidential listening space, and work with you to understand your difficulties and help you find a way forward. I specialise in working with trauma, PTSD, and people who exhibit a range of coping behaviours, such as self-harm, addiction, and other behavioural issues. I offer specialist diagnostic assessments for ADHD in children and adults.
I have specialist training in EMDR, Trauma-Focused Relational CBT for Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder, Mentalization Based Therapy, and Online Sexual Behaviours. My treatment approach is integrative, drawing on CBT, CFT, DBT, MBT, and Systemic therapies. I have clinical expertise in the assessment of ADHD in children and adults.
I take pride in building warm, empathic, and non-judgemental relationships to help the clients I work with feel physically and psychologically safe. I help people build an understanding of how their current-day difficulties emerged, what is perpetuating these difficulties, and to develop alternative coping strategies. I work with individuals and couples.
