About
Finding the right counsellor can feel such a big decision, and I hope to give you a sense of whether I might be right for you. I hold a degree in 'Contemporary Relational Counselling' and I am a member of the BACP, which is an ethical body here in the UK. I work with a really wide range of issues including grief, anxiety, trauma, relationship difficulties and many more.
Once I began training to be a counsellor back in 2016, I knew straight away this was the role for me. I find it a genuine privilege to be part of that counselling journey for clients, particularly finding those moments where things click into place, or a spark of hope shines through, whilst we might be working through some really difficult things.
What a lot of evidence has shown, and what my work as a counsellor so far has shown me, is that the relationship between you and your counsellor is one of the most important aspects, feeling safe, supported and heard. I will work really hard to create this for you in our online space together, if you choose to work with me.
