You may be stuck with negative thoughts about yourself or others; feeling lonely, angry, shame, guilty, grief, anxiety or sadness.
I'm a person centred counsellor and what I can offer you is an opportunity to speak freely about whatever is currently important in your life. This may be something from the past, a current experience or something you are finding hard to overcome. In particular, I offer support around depression, anxiety and suicidal thoughts.

I am a highly motivated individual who is caring and passionate about providing therapy to suit your needs, I do this by using an integrative approach, such as Cognitive behavior therapy, Person centred and psychodynamic & trauma informed approaches such as IEMT. I believe this collaborative approach is beneficial as therapy is not one style suits all. I am able to gain a true felt sense for each and every individual and apply evidence based models to help provide you with the best model to suit your needs, I do this whilst offering emotional support in a non judge mental safe space to help address and process your concerns.

If you feel overwhelmed or stuck in patterns that don’t shift, therapy can help you understand and change what isn’t working. Dual-accredited psychotherapist, online and in person in Guildford. People often come to therapy when something in their emotional life or relationships feels hard to manage. You might feel overwhelmed or reactive, stuck in patterns that don’t shift, struggling with self-criticism, or finding that anxiety, low mood, or relationship difficulties keep returning despite effort or insight. Many people I work with are functioning well on the outside but struggling internally, or unsure where to begin.

I work with grief and bereavement, supporting you to understand your loss.
In counselling you can share any thoughts you don't feel comfortable sharing with family and friends. You have the freedom, in a supportive environment, to unravel your grief by taking freely about your person and to work out how your grief sits in your life. This can help you to feel more able to manage your life in the face of your significant loss.

There are periods in life when we can all experience anxiety, depression, anger or loss.
I have worked within an NHS practice and a secondary school for a number of years. This means that my clients have been adults, teenagers and children of different ages, backgrounds, and faiths. As an integrative counsellor I offer short-term and long-term counselling. I support the restoring of positive mental health by using a range of traditional models and creative techniques tailored specifically to each individual client's need. Because I appreciate how daunting it can be meeting a stranger, I offer an initial session at £35, so that my client and I can meet and experience a positive start to therapy. Further sessions are £55

I have worked extensively with OCD,Anxiety & Bereavement.
Has life has started to feel heavy, overwhelming, or confusing?… you’re not alone, and you don’t have to navigate it alone. Many of the people I work with come to me because their thoughts won’t slow down, their relationships feel strained, or they’re tired of carrying stress that no one else seems to see. If that sounds familiar, I’m here to support you—gently, respectfully, and at your pace

I have experience of working with a range of emotional experiences, including the impact of past trauma, depression, anxiety, bereavement, domestic abuse, sexual abuse, family issues, self-esteem, life transitions, menopause and fertility issues.
My focus is to provide a confidential and non-judgemental space in which you can give a voice to your experiences and feelings. Through this process you can gain clarity and focus, explore options and identify support networks. Sometimes this process can include gentle movement or creative exercises in sessions.

Do you have difficulties in relationships? Have you noticed the same patterns of behaviour happening repetitively in your life? Do you have low self-confidence/self-esteem? Do you suffer with anxiety and/or depression? If you have answered yes to any of the above, then I may be able to help you.

How long does therapy take for grief?
There is no exact timeline for grief counseling. Some people may start to feel better after just a few sessions, while others may take months or longer to feel relief. Some specific approaches, including some types of CBT, may involve a set number of sessions, or therapy may be open-ended until the patient determines they are ready to wrap up. Just as there is no right or wrong way to grieve, there is no right or wrong way to seek therapy for grief.

When should you seek therapy for grief?
Many people mistakenly believe that their grief needs to be debilitating or all-encompassing to warrant therapy. This is not the case. While people who experience severe, prolonged grief—particularly those who are considering self-harm or engaging in unhealthy substance use—are especially likely to benefit from therapy, so too are people whose grief is less intense but still interfering with well-being or daily functioning. In practice, almost anyone struggling to process a loss could benefit from grief counseling.

Can grief be managed without therapy?
Oftentimes, yes. Grief is a near-universal part of being human, and many find that their grief, while profound, does not stop them from participating in day-to-day life and steadily eases over time without outside help. For others, however, the harsh pain of early grief persists for months or years or leaves them unable to function. This group is especially likely to benefit from seeing a therapist, who can guide them through their grief and help them reconnect with the world.

What happens if grief is left untreated?
Because grief does not in itself necessitate therapy, untreated grief will often resolve on its own. However, for some people—particularly those who would qualify for a diagnosis of prolonged grief disorder—untreated grief can be a source of seemingly endless pain or lead them to withdraw from the world. In such cases, treatment can be indispensable, as it can help an individual adapt to the loss and start living again.
