You came in uncertain, maybe a little sceptical. You weren't sure therapy could help, or that anything could. But you did the work. Something shifted. Not magic, not overnight but real, lasting change that you still feel today. You moved forward. You built something better. And it was hard, but not as long as you expected. I help people to move forward by making the process of therapy as short as I can, so patients can move on autonomously with tools that are long lasting. If you're ready to be the kind of person who looks back a year from now and thinks that was the turning point, DoorToTherapy this is the right place to start.

Thank you for taking the time to look at my profile. You might be feeling anxious, depressed, stressed, or overwhelmed. You maybe facing challenges at work or in your relationships or struggling with low self-esteem. If you have experienced trauma, whether in childhood or adulthood, you might be affected by painful memories, flashbacks, or nightmares that continue to disrupt your life, even years after the event.

There are many experiences that can lead us to start therapy. Perhaps you have been experiencing uncomfortable emotions like anxiety / low mood; difficult or traumatic life events or bereavement; find yourself stuck in relational or behavioural patterns that are no longer serving you; or are struggling with the relationship you have with yourself. These are heavy experiences to carry on our own and in doing so, we may feel stuck in a cycle beyond our control. I am here to help you make sense of what you are experiencing, move towards your valued direction / change and support you to reclaim your life.

I work with AXA, Aviva, and Cigna Global Health.
Do you replay your baby's birth over and over like a video you can't turn off? Do you find yourself constantly checking if your baby is still breathing? Do you feel numb, like you're going through the motions of parenthood but feel nothing? Do you avoid pregnant friends, baby showers, or conversations about birth altogether? Do you shudder at the thought of another pregnancy? I've always been passionate about working with trauma. My focus on birth trauma and baby loss deepened through my work within an NHS Maternal Mental Health Service, where I saw firsthand how many parents suffer in silence after a difficult birth or loss.

If you’re feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or carrying things alone for too long, therapy can offer a space to slow down and make sense of what’s happening beneath the surface. I work with adults who want thoughtful jargon free psychotherapy, especially when anxiety, low mood, addiction, or past experiences are shaping how life feels right now. I offer online psychotherapy to adults across the UK, providing a space where you can speak openly and reflect honestly. I have extensive experience working with people who have lived through trauma, difficult childhood experiences, and mental health struggles.

My approach is rooted in compassion, authenticity, and a deep understanding that healing is as much about reconnecting with yourself as it is about addressing the wounds you’ve endured. Where relevant I can help you to understand the source of your core pain, which acknowledges and honours the struggles you have already endured while identifying the strengths you have developed to adapt and survive. Where some of these adaptations have become unhelpful, I work with you to discover healthy coping mechanisms and tools moving forward.

Sometimes it can feel hard to name exactly what is wrong, something feels off, heavy, or stuck. You might carry the weight of past experiences, intrusive thoughts, and uncontrollable worries. Perhaps you are from a minority background, LGBTQIA+, neurodivergent, or previous support did not quite your identity and culture. If previous therapy hasn't fully worked, if you've been told your needs are too complex for one service or not unwell enough for another, if you have felt unheard or misunderstood, you may be exactly who I work best with.

I am registered with AXA, Aviva, and WPA.
I work with adults who have a sense that something isn’t quite right, even when life looks fine on the outside. They often second-guess themselves, replay conversations, feel responsible for others, or notice the same patterns showing up in their relationships and in how they see themselves. Many have spent years trying to “figure themselves out” but still feel stuck or unsure of who they are. In therapy, we slow things down, make sense of these patterns, and build a more understanding, compassionate relationship with yourself, so life feels more like your own.

You may feel overwhelmed, anxious, burnt out, or stuck in patterns you can’t shift. Perhaps you’ve carried trauma, people-pleasing, emotional numbness, or chronic overthinking for years. You want clarity, emotional stability, healthier relationships, and confidence in yourself. You may already reflect deeply, even using AI to explore your thoughts, yet still feel unresolved. You don’t just want insight, you want real change, integration, and a sense of calm, secure direction in your life.
