I have experience of working with most psychological difficulties, but have special interests in adolescence, pre and post natal issues, anxiety and low mood, problematic family relationships, life cycle changes, parenting and bereavement.
I am a fully trained and registered psychotherapist with over 20 years experience in the NHS (ongoing). I run a small evening clinic in Jericho offering time limited and open ended work. I also offer a very popular 4 session 'fast response' intervention for adolescents and young adults for £260. This treatment can be extremely helpful at times of crisis and change. I am registered with ACP, BACP and the Professional Standards Authority; PSA. I teach and supervise other therapists.

Or we may have doubts about ourselves, an underlying feeling that we are not getting the most from life.
Whilst I believe there is no magic cure, therapy and putting words to the difficult stuff can help make change possible, increase happiness and overcome problems. Together we will make more sense of your current problems, what lies behind them, looking at links between present and past experiences, ultimately enabling you to lead a more fulfilling life.

Our team works across the full range of adult mental health: anxiety, depression, trauma and PTSD, couples and relationships, neurodiversity (ADHD and autism), LGBTQIA+ affirming therapy, workplace stress and burnout, grief, and life transitions.
The people who come to us arrive with the full range of adult difficulty — anxiety that has been wearing them down, depression, the after-effects of trauma, relationships that are not working, neurodivergent adults, LGBTQIA+ clients looking for genuinely affirming practice, and senior professionals carrying pressure they cannot put down anywhere else. What our team of more than 90 qualified counsellors and therapists offers is something specific: deliberate matching. You are not assigned to whoever happens to be available. You are matched to the practitioner whose training, specialism, and approach actually fit your needs.

People come to therapy for all sorts of reasons, and often when life has not been easy.
I work with clients from different backgrounds, some just want to come a few times to sort out a specific issue, while others come for more open ended support or because they are in a psychotherapy training themselves.

Many of the people I work with arrive having carried something for too long. Senior professionals running on empty, whose sleep and sense of self have started to fray. Women with PMDD — the condition I wrote and published a book on — who have spent years being told what they experience is just "normal PMS". People living with the after-effects of trauma that never properly settled. What they share is being capable, articulate adults who have nonetheless reached the point of needing help. I work with all of that — at the pace your system can tolerate, with rigour, and without pretending therapy is a cure.

Whether you are just starting out in life or an elite performer wanting to achieve the last 1%, you can learn practical and effective ways to get unstuck.
Having worked in elite and grassroots sport, and as a leader in business, I have seen the transformative impact that comes from learning skills to handle difficult thoughts and feelings more effectively, so they have less impact and influence over you.

Often, individual difficulties are accompanied by the challenges of daily life, which make each person’s experience different and their therapeutic needs unique.
I have been working within mental health for over a decade and have experience in higher education, NHS, and the voluntary sector settings. My NHS work has involved forensic and learning disability settings as well as palliative care, working with frontline staff and within direct patient care.

Whether you need to overcome a traumatic experience, difficulties in relationships, self esteem, anxiety or coaching to provide skills to transition through life, manage a situation or perform at your best.
Overcoming experiences in life that impact on us in an unhelpful way is not straight forward. It can also be damaging to our health and happiness if we develop unwanted behaviours to cope with our emotions. EMDR, Hypnosis, Symbolic Modelling combined with psychotherapy can help you move forward with confidence.

I have 4 years experience as a clinical neuropsychologist in Germany and also offer neuropsychological therapy and training, next to talking sessions. I am an HCPC accredited Practicing Psychologist.

From the outside, you seem capable, yet you're wondering why life feels so much harder for you than it seems to for everyone else.
I believe the ways we cope often make sense when we understand the experiences that shaped us. Many of us learn to adapt in order to belong, succeed or meet the expectations of others, but over time this can come at a cost. Therapy can help you understand these patterns, reconnect with yourself and discover what feels authentic to you.

I have worked together with many different people from all walks of life to figure out what their difficulties are and to put solutions together to change the way they think and behave.
Firstly, id like to congratulate you for getting this far on getting help with your difficulties, this can be a scary first step! As your therapist, I will take time to know you as a person and work together with you to make changes with nothing but encouragement (even if things dont go to plan). I'll celebrate the wins with you, big and small. I will listen to your perspectives and experience without judgement in order to get to know all of you as a person. Then, ill work together with you to plan putting changes into place to interrupt old and unhelpful cycles of thinking and behaving.

I see clients from across all ages, ethnicities and with an extremely wide range of issues. I help clients to come to grips with substance abuse, depression, all forms of anxiety and much more besides. I help my clients to summon the strength to put their issues behind them. I help them to find new ways of feeling, thinking and behaving. Whatever their goals might be, I help them to realise that they're strong enough, good enough and able to achieve them. I particularly specialise in working with clients on the high functioning end of the autistic spectrum.
