Since 2010, I have worked across diverse contexts, specialising in complex emotional needs, including complex trauma, PTSD, phobias, GAD, depression, and mental health challenges related to neuro-developmental disorders (ASC & ADHD).
Forging solid therapeutic connections is mostly dependent on transparency and empathy. By fostering genuine cooperation, validating experiences, and appreciating individual uniqueness, I hope to empower my clients and inspire them to work toward their objectives and gain an appreciation for the process of self-discovery.

As an ex-lawyer I have personally experienced stress related burnout, work-place trauma, major depression, anxiety, grief, and adult diagnosis of ADD neurodiversity.
Are you stuck, finding life hard to manage or struggling with neurodiversity? Work with me to reconnect with your authentic self, the things that bring you joy and not get stuck on automatic pilot, playing parts that don't work any longer. You don't need to be unwell to benefit from psychosynthesis or mindfulness, although most people come to therapy when something gets stuck or unworkable in their lives. Whatever your reason to seek help, I believe in reconnecting you with what makes your heart sing.

My ideal client is an individual or a couple who are genuinely committed to looking inwards, keen to look at themselves and how they relate to the world around them. The therapy I am offering is ideal for those seeking an engaged therapeutic relationship with collaborative exploration rather than a one-side dialogue from the client. In fostering a warm and professional environment, my aim is to guide clients through a transformative journey of self-discovery and interpersonal understanding, ultimately empowering them to navigate life with greater insight and resilience.

Perhaps you're beginning to wonder whether ADHD and/or autism might explain experiences you've struggled to make sense of for years.
I believe the ways we cope often make sense when we understand the experiences that shaped us. Many of us learn to adapt in order to belong, succeed or meet the expectations of others, but over time this can come at a cost. Therapy can help you understand these patterns, reconnect with yourself and discover what feels authentic to you.

Are you feeling trapped in patterns of behaviour that made sense in the past but hold you back now? Perhaps you're constantly reliving traumatic experiences in your mind or body, or feeling shame, self-criticism, anger or anxiety that you can't seem to change. Together we'll notice the feelings, beliefs, sensations and memories that show up for you in each moment, and find ways you can respond to these feelings that leave you feeling calm, self-compassionate and more resolved. If talking hasn't changed the difficulties you're experiencing, or your body feels stuck in past experiences, this way of working might be a good fit for you.

People come to therapy for many reasons including difficulties with relationships, identity, work or family. Some people find themselves at a transition in their life and benefit from speaking to somebody outside of their circle of family or friends to think about the new challenges or decisions they face. Other people might come to therapy because they feel overwhelmed, anxious, or stuck with more general feelings of loss, sadness or worry which might be harder to define and take some time to understand. I work in a responsive and open-ended way so that we can make space for what's important to emerge, in your own time.

It is my belief that we all have very unique and individual reasons and circumstances surrounding our issues and that taking the step to share them with someone else can be intimidating. Which is why I am open to working in a non-judgemental way, with anyone who feels they want to share their thoughts and feelings in a safe and nurturing environment. I offer face to face or online video counselling via Zoom because I realise that not everyone wants to be in the same room as their therapist or are able to travel.

A Space For Men to Talk.

I support men experiencing: - Anxiety - Depression - Anger - ADHD - Ocd - Relationship difficulties - Low self-worth - The lasting effects of Bullying, Narcissistic abuse, - or difficult relationships with Fathers, Step fathers, Brothers and mums partner.
Many of the men I work with have spent years pushing things down, coping alone, or feeling they should just “get on with it” until life becomes too heavy to carry quietly. I work specifically with men and understand that starting therapy can feel unfamiliar, uncomfortable, or difficult to talk about. I offer a supportive, non-judgemental space where you can speak openly and be properly heard. Before becoming a therapist, I spent over 25 years working in the construction industry, with some of that time spent running my own business. I understand the pressures many men carry — the expectation to cope and keep going.

I have a keen interest in working with individuals who are seeking self-awareness. Art Therapy allows expression that is not based on spoken language only. You don't need any artistic skills or any previous experience in creative expression. I hope for clients to learn their own skills and tools to heal and transform and be their best possible self. I know how hard life can be due to situations from past and present that affect us.

When should I seek treatment for ADHD?
You should seek treatment for ADHD if you consistently have difficulty with attention, hyperactivity, or impulsivity that interferes with your daily life. Symptoms of ADHD include the inability to sustain attention during tasks, difficulty organizing tasks and activities, being easily distracted, frequent fidgeting or squirming, and talking or interrupting excessively. If these symptoms interfere with your career, academics, or relationships—for example, consistently failing to complete professional projects on time—you should seek an evaluation for ADHD.

How does treatment for ADHD work?
Effective treatment for ADHD often consists of medication, behavioural therapy, and lifestyle changes. Stimulant medications such as Adderall and Ritalin work by altering levels of neurotransmitters in the brain; higher levels of dopamine and norepinephrine are known to improve attention and focus. Therapy works by helping people with ADHD understand the condition, discuss their areas of difficulty, and develop behavioral strategies to manage their symptoms. In some cases, modifying one’s diet and exercise can also help improve symptoms.

How long does treatment for ADHD take?
It’s tough to give an exact time frame because everyone varies. In terms of medications, stimulants begin to work very soon after you take them, generally within the hour. It may take time to identify the right medication and dosage, but the medication itself is fast-acting. In terms of therapy, it takes time to develop skills and put them into practice, but you will likely see improvements within a few weeks or months.
