Often our anxieties and difficulties can weigh us down and we are unable to find a way forward. Perhaps we experience intrusive anxious thoughts or our inner critic is just too loud and holds us back. Maybe we keep repeating the same unhelpful behaviour again and again. Or perhaps past trauma feels too present and we are still experiencing its physical and emotional impact and the way it makes us behave. Our thoughts and feelings can be confusing and talking to friends and relatives may be too difficult. I provide a safe, respectful space in which you can explore your difficulties, gain insight and discover a way forward.

Perhaps you are constantly worrying, overthinking, struggling with panic, or finding it difficult to switch off. Maybe a traumatic experience from the past continues to affect you in the present. You do not have to face these difficulties alone, and recovery is possible. My aim is not simply to help you cope with symptoms, but to support you in making meaningful and lasting changes so that you can get back to living the life you want.

Many women seek therapy because something no longer feels quite right. Life may have shifted in a way you didn’t expect, or you may be carrying thoughts and feelings that are becoming harder to manage alone. You may feel anxious, down, overwhelmed or disconnected from yourself. These experiences often arise during periods of stress, life transitions, hormonal changes and uncertainty — when old ways of coping no longer work, or when past experiences begin to surface in the present. I offer a calm, reflective space to slow down, understand what feels unsettled, and begin to feel more grounded, supported and steady from within.

I know how important it is to feel safe, heard, and respected in therapy. That’s why I prioritise a genuine, human connection from the very first session. Building a strong therapeutic relationship is the foundation of my work, and I’ll take time to create a space where you feel comfortable to share whatever feels important at your own pace.
Our initial conversations will focus on understanding what’s brought you to therapy and what you’d like to get out of it. Together, we’ll begin to explore your experiences and build a shared understanding of the challenges you’re facing, as well as the factors that may be contributing to them.
