I am the founder and Clinical Lead at Therapy Nottingham, a pioneering Integrative psychotherapy service based in Nottingham city centre. Clients often have a strong sense that 'something is wrong' without knowing the exact nature of it. Issues around identity and relationships lead to some common questions that clients are trying to resolve include; how did this happen? What happened to my 'old' self? How do I move on? Who am I?

Hi, I'm Gill and as a Person-centred Counsellor, I hold the belief that we all have within ourselves the answers we seek. However, there are often times – especially when struggling with problems and difficult life events – that it can be hard to see a way forward. Whilst sharing worries with friends or family may be a valuable source of support, Talking Therapies can offer you the time and space to talk things through in a more open way and at a deeper level, helping you to gain new insight and view things differently, enabling you to let go of the past and allowing you to move forward.

Hi! I’m Abi, and I am a Relational Integrative Therapeutic Counsellor. Therapy offers us a space to explore current processes, and how they may be linked to the past. Whether you are experiencing anxiety, depression, low self-worth, or other trauma-related difficulties, I am here for you. My practice is a cosy room, located in Nottingham. Here we can explore, processing the parts of you, perhaps gaining a better understanding of yourself and how you want to move forwards. Sometimes life can be hard and it is my wish to be here for you when it is, tackling the bad, whilst working on feeling the good.

Welcome to my profile - My name is Cat and I'm an expert in developmental trauma and personality difficulties. These can lead to a range of mental health needs that I can support you with (like anxiety, anger, risky behaviours, psychosis...) and also unhelpful coping behaviours, such as self-harm and suicidal thoughts, substance use, relationship struggles, and on. My approach is to understand the 'why', to get the root cause of difficult experiences so that we know how to improve it. We will work on identifying unhelpful coping strategies and replace these with healthy ones so we can work on developing the life that you want.

Hello, I'm Zareeda and I work with people on issues ranging from rape and sexual abuse to stress, bereavement, anxiety and depression. If you are struggling to find meaning in life you may be feeling disconnected from yourself and/or those around you. This loss of contact with yourself, your needs, values and beliefs may decrease your trust in your ability to form and build meaningful relationships and achieve personal goals.

There are times in our life when pressures mount up so much, that they really impact on the quality of our day to day living and our overall wellbeing. This may be caused by specific events such as a relationship breakup, the death of a pet or loved one, redundancy or our health. It could be more general such as the impact of Covid-19, unfulfilling relationships whether that be with your colleagues, parents, siblings, partner or your children. Or, you’re not sure what’s causing you to feel so fed up – you ‘should’ be happy. Building resilience does not eradicate the stress and anxiety of everyday life, but it does reduce the impact.

Life constantly reminds us that we don't know what's coming; we are multifaceted, complex beings and we cannot always face the things we need to, on our own. We all have our individual histories, and sometimes we need to look at this to help with how we are dealing with the world today. It is my intention to help you find the best way forward for you, using integrative therapeutic methods in a confidential, warm, non-judgemental, authentic, and safe space. If you are asking yourself questions such as why is this happening, how did I get here, why me, what do I do now?, then please reach out to someone who might be able to help.

If you’re reading this, you’re most likely in a space of confusion, anxiety, anger, loneliness, resentment, sadness or grief. You might be feeling one, some or all of these; and more. I know this first step is hard, whether you’ve had therapy before or not. It means you’ll be starting a journey towards the unknown, and when you’re already going through so much, it can feel like doing nothing is easier. I’m here to meet you where you are and sit with you in that space or walk with you to face parts of yourself that you're reluctant to go to on your own. I’m here to help create a different space so we can explore whatever you need.

Hello and a Warm Welcome, Are you the type of person who works hard and yet other people seem to be promoted before you? Do you put yourself last and yet others complain you don't do enough for them? Do you feel trapped in a cycle of negative patterns.? Does it feel like it has always been this way and always will be? Do you find you have difficulty saying No and then feel guilty or anxious when you need to say no? Do you then feel burnt out, stressed, or resentful towards others? Would you like to find a safe non-judgemental space where you can be seen and heard, a space for you to be able to talk about and process the issues?
