Hello, I’m Alison (she/her) and I am a qualified counsellor and psychotherapist working in Nottingham and online. I also offer Neurodivergent Coaching. My experience covers a wide range of mental health and emotional difficulties including depression, anxiety, relationship issues, self-harm, trauma and abuse. I work with adults and young people from the age of 12 from a diverse range of backgrounds and life experience. I have a particular interest in supporting Neurodivergent clients and will adapt my ways of working to meet your needs. It could be more general such as the impact of Covid-19, unfulfilling relationships whether that be with your colleagues, parents, siblings, partner or your children. Or, you’re not sure what’s causing you to feel so fed up – you ‘should’ be happy. Building resilience does not eradicate the stress and anxiety of everyday life, but it does reduce the impact.
