Hi, I'm looking forward to hearing from you! I want to hear your concerns and support you to work towards the things that matter most to you. I believe therapy should happen in a friendly, nurturing space in which you feel safe and comfortable to bring anything you want to talk about and work on. I usually suggest exercises and other resources to complete in between sessions in order to keep the work progressing. As an accredited EMDR therapist as well as a chartered clinical psychologist, I can tailor the therapy approach to best address your concerns.

Life can be tough at times, can make us feel undervalued, overwhelmed and maybe quite a lonely place to be. Therapy can help us understand ourselves a little better, value our uniqueness that makes us who we are. I strive to support that self awakening, to focus on rediscovery rather than changing who you are. I am passionate about ensuring neuro-divergent people can access therapy and adapt my ways of working to meet their needs. I ensure I complete regular CPD and training in Trauma focused CBT, Theraplay Level 1, DDP Level 1&2, therapeutic parenting and training via PODS specializing in DID. Emotionally Focused Couples Therapy.

Hi there, welcome to my profile. You might have arrived here with a clear sense of what hurts, or are struggling to understand what is difficult. You may be lost, stuck, or scared. You might be going through an important transition in your life. You may be reading this under some distress and are considering taking the next step to work on that suffering. Perhaps you are experiencing oppressions that leave you feeling marginalised and worn down. You may face difficulties relating to neurodiversity. The above factors (amongst others) may contribute to a sense of feeling out of place, both within yourself and in relationships.

We are often taught that some feelings are "good" and others are "bad," but really, every emotion is just trying to tell us something. When we carry old pain, it is common to swing between two extremes. Sometimes we numb out and shut down until we feel stuck. Other times the pain becomes so loud and the urges so strong that they feel impossible to control. Both are just ways you’ve learned to cope with things that were too much to handle alone. In our sessions, we can slow down to face these feelings without being forced to act on them. This lets the struggle settle so you can finally feel more steady.

As a person‑centred therapist, I believe that every person has the potential for growth and healing, and my approach is all about creating a safe, warm space where you can explore what’s on your mind and in your heart. I’m here to listen, support, and help you make sense of whatever is weighing on you. Many of the people I work with are dealing with stress, anxiety, overwhelm, or patterns that feel hard to shift, and together we create space for things to feel lighter and more manageable. In addition to my person‑centred approach, I also offer BWRT.

I support adults and teenagers who may be feeling anxious, low, overwhelmed or stuck, or navigating trauma, grief, relationships, parenting pressure, teenage stress, family expectations, cultural identity, migration, life or career transitions. Many people come to therapy after carrying things quietly for a long time. I offer a warm, confidential space where we can slow things down, make sense of what is happening and find a way forward that feels gentle, grounded and meaningful.

I’m an accredited Cognitive Behavioural Therapist (CBT), and I work in a flexible, integrative way that’s shaped around you. I mainly use CBT and Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), which are practical approaches that focus on giving you tools to manage difficult emotions, cope with challenges, and make changes that feel realistic and achievable. When it feels helpful, I also explore deeper emotional and relationship patterns, as understanding these can bring clarity and support longer-term change. My aim is to offer a warm, supportive space where we can work together at a pace that feels right for you.

I am passionate about working with neurodivergent young people aged 6-25, and parents/carers who want to understand their child's needs, particularly where they might have concerns about their development e.g. learning or social skills. Many parents that I work with find that their child is struggling to regulate emotions, which can be shown through behavioural distress. This can have a significant impact on families, and parents may be unsure how to adapt their response. Often, parents have tried familiar approaches, which might have worked for siblings, but don't seem to have the same effect for their child with additional needs.

I work with domestic abuse, identity, sexual trauma, PTSD, self-esteem, anger, grief, relationship issues, OCD, body issues, anxiety, depression, guilt, shame, loneliness and sometimes just exploring and finding who you are.
I provide a warm safe trusting space where you can process and unfold life’s difficulties and issues. I have extensive experience working with BPD, complex trauma and how people coordinate their lives. Additionally, what may seem minimal in relation to bigger issues you perceive others have, can have great impact on us. All issues are worth exploring if the impact creates difficulties. My approach is collaborative and integrative, addressing present/historical trauma, revisiting a childhood that was difficult, unwanted or distorted thoughts/feelings or just needing to be heard and talk openly.
