In a world where people seem more connected to their phones than each other, it's rare to find someone who has dedicated time and space just for you. Someone willing to walk alongside you for as long as you need to figure things out, digest what has happened, and help you learn about yourself in the process. Perhaps you’ve reached a crisis point in your life, and don’t know where else to turn? Maybe you’ve been out-of-sorts for a while, and need some help to figure out what is going on? Or perhaps you're here because you want to understand yourself better and how you relate to others?

Living with mental health difficulties can be a tough experience, especially if you feel that you do not have much support to help you. If you also have physical health issues, then this can be even more distressing and potentially isolating. As a qualified and registered Clinical Psychologist, I have often worked alongside individuals struggling to live a value-driven life as mental health difficulties have gotten in the way. I believe it is important to tailor therapy to meet your needs/goals. We can create a safe space to reflect upon your experiences, and collaboratively find ways to manage the difficulties you are experiencing.

You are the only person who knows exactly how you feel, which means, you are the only one who knows when something is wrong. When something has happened, big or small, but enough to create feelings of anxiety, stress and depression, it can lead us to feeling isolated and alone. There is a human need to want to get back to that balance of a happy life and that change can only happen when you know and understand what is wrong and why. Sometimes we get so overwhelmed by a situation, current or historical, we cant seem to find a way out. But balance is achievable again, but sometimes we just need a little support to help us get there.

Are you tired of doubting yourself and feeling like you’re never quite enough? Do you find yourself caught in a cycle of overthinking, overachieving, and constantly questioning your worth? If this sounds like you, I’m here to help. The people I work with are often high-achievers, driven to succeed but held back by an inner voice that doubts, criticises, or shames. Underneath their accomplishments, they may feel exhausted by perfectionism, people-pleasing, or self-blame that keeps them stuck. Together, we can unpack these patterns and help you rebuild a sense of self-worth and inner calm.

Welcome, my name is Julia and thank you for taking the time to drop by to learn a little more about me and how I may be able to help you to feel better about your life. It has been my experience that navigating our way through our lives is not always plain sailing and at times we may turn to unhelpful and self-destructive ways to see us through. Whether it is alcohol, drugs, shopping, surgery or unhealthy relationships we are trying to cope with deep unhappiness in the best way we can and as we get older those feelings and addictive behaviour can often get stronger and take us to dark places.
