In our sessions, I use a structured, goal-oriented approach to help you build the tools you need to address your current difficulties and manage them effectively. You’ll have the space to talk through your thoughts and feelings, and together we’ll find ways to take practical steps toward a more balanced, fulfilling life.

I practice from my own room in NR6, Norwich, with parking available. I offer a safe, nurturing, non-judgemental counselling relationship. I work with clients to explore the issues that bring them to counselling, make them feel unhappy, unsatisfied or overwhelmed; exploring and working towards understanding these issues, and their responses to them. Our unhappiness may be triggered by any number of things beyond our control, but we can change how we think and the views we hold, through increased self-awareness. Couples work looks at exploring issues in a safe and emotionally containing environment to work towards mutual resolution.

I work with adults experiencing anxiety, relationship difficulties, life transitions, identity concerns, and the impact of trauma.
You might be feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or uncertain, or have a sense that something isn’t quite right, but struggle to put it into words. You may be navigating change, emotional difficulty, or patterns that no longer feel helpful. Many people come to therapy not because of a crisis, but because they want space to pause, reflect, and better understand themselves and their relationships.

My clients have told me that they valued the warmth and acceptance I show in my sessions, which is something I am intensely proud of. Other feedback also highlighted my skills at explaining the rationale behind therapy - helping translate scientific research and therapeutic models into practical skills that make sense for your own situation and context. New clients have fed back to me that I was especially warm and welcoming, helping to normalise and validate difficulties that they have been struggling with. Clients who have experienced therapy before said that I was able to bring insight and understanding to therapy.

Have you lost your way, your purpose, your spark? You may be in a dark place and feel there is no way out. I have been a psychotherapeutic counsellor for 10 years, specialising in anxiety, trauma and abuse, attachment issues, low-self esteem and anxiety. My method is to create a very safe and understanding space, listening deeply and reflecting - sometimes gently challenging - what I see and hear. Waitlist for new clients
During our initial session, we will create a timeline of your significant life experiences and then explore them against how you are feeling in the present.
Hi, thank you for stopping on my page. As you search through these listings, I am sure you are trying to find out what brought you here and what kind of support you need. You have taken the first step :) The next step is to take a deep breath and trust yourself to move towards making that first enquiry. It can feel daunting, but I promise it is not as bad as it may seem. If you are looking for a therapist who will listen, understand and walk with you through a difficult time, you have found me. If you need to feel you can trust, share, cry and talk, I will listen and I will help you find your next steps. I encourage you to call.

Managing life's challenges and our mental health can be overwhelming.
I am an integrative counsellor, which means I use a combination of therapeutic approaches to best support you. My own therapeutic journey helped me to work through a number of significant losses and periods of depression. That process led me to become a counsellor and is something that is really important to me. I am also a qualified and experienced coach.

With integrative and person-centred counselling, I walk alongside you at your own pace, helping you bring light into shadowy areas, understand the patterns shaping your life, and allow a richer sense of self to unfold.
I offer a calm and attentive online therapy space to explore what’s happening for you with compassion and curiosity. I approach issues on the basis that they are often rooted deeper than the rational mind alone, deserving care and understanding to gently shift and evolve. Together, we work to restore balance, clarity, and a deeper sense of self-awareness.

Life Coaching Counsellors
What can I expect from life coaching?
Clients and coaches will typically start by identifying the problem area(s) that the client hopes to address—then, the coach will help the client brainstorm potential solutions and explore concrete techniques to help the client attain their goals. Coaching is typically short-term and focused on finding solutions in the here and now, rather than exploring a client’s past. In addition to strategies aimed at the client’s specific concerns, coaches may encourage general stress management techniques such as meditation.

Can a life coach help treat anxiety?
Because the majority of life coaches are not licensed clinicians, they are not qualified to diagnose or treat anxiety. Anyone struggling with anxiety or another mental health condition should seek help from a licensed mental health practitioner. However, some coaching clients who struggle with subclinical anxiety report that working with their coach on other problems—such as career dissatisfaction or unhealthy habits—has a positive effect on their anxiety.

Can life coaching be done online?
Yes. While life coaching often happens in person, many coaches conduct sessions over the phone or via online platforms such as Zoom or Skype. Because life coaches are not subject to local licensing regulations in the same way that therapists are, they are able to see clients who live in other locations.

How long does life coaching last?
Life coaching tends to be a shorter-term process than therapy, though it does not always unfold over a specific period of time and is instead based on the coach’s or the client’s preferences. Coaching often takes place over three to 12 months but may be shorter or longer if necessary.
