Hello; my name is Kevin and thank you for visiting my profile. How does it make you feel when attempting to share your thoughts and feelings with others when they respond by saying: I know how you feel, sort yourself out, Man up, you should do it this way, pull yourself together, you will get over it. You are a unique individual, your feelings are unique to you and deserve to be accepted and valued.
Hi - I'm Theresa and I am an experienced counsellor and psychotherapist. I work with adults and adolescents from the age of 12, and I offer a warm and friendly service. I work with a broad range of client issues and find that by having a safe space, my clients are able to explore what is going on in their life and together we can find a way forward. I understand that life can be difficult whatever age you are, and it can sometimes feel like you are lost or confused by events or feelings. If you are struggling with something and would like to get some help with it, come and talk to me and see if counselling works for you.
As a RELATE trained counsellor I wrote a 36 hour programme to help domestic abusers, both men and women, change their abusive behaviours. More than 1,000 men and more than 100 women have completed the programme 100% . We have improved and developed the content in line with our learning and the enormous progress in neuroscience and emotions. "Anger management" the early focuse was replaced with "emotional regulation" from 1998 when we developed an "emotional wheel" around which to work, gender inclusively. The Duluth "Power and Control" wheel was recognised in 1999 by the late Ellen Pence as being misplaced.
I can help you to become the best version of yourself! I am a highly dedicated Psychotherapist and Clinical Hypnotherapist, my techniques are a mix of evidence-based treatments – cognitive therapy with mindfulness - integrating self-esteem, self-acceptance, emotional resilience, and self- development to help clients develop their skills to cope with emotional difficulties and changing irrational thinking. I help clients focus on life goals, their well-being, to see life in a more positive way, and to accept negative events and feelings so that they are more prepared for life with an increased sense of well-being.
What if you knew why you felt different from everyone else? What if you knew why your brain wrecked, your concentration? Job? Relationships? Do you often feel like there was a class on starting, maintaining and ending conversation but you missed it? Do you feel overwhelmed if there is too much noise or too many people talking at once? Or maybe you HAVE to do something and that you cannot just relax and do absolutely nothing? Do you feel physically exhausted but you mind is still racing and will not let you sleep? If this sounds familiar and you are looking to understanding why this happens, then I might be able to help.
Life is a journey of discovery of the self and diversity is the beauty of this world. Who a person is and what makes them happy is unique, and most of the time different from others. Being truthful to self brings resilience, but even so, life can be a continuous challenge. Maybe at the moment you feel that you are on the journey or you want to start the journey of self-discovery. Perhaps, you are facing some new or old challenges in life that you want to overcome, control, get the better of, or get over it. Or you want to make some sense of some old matters that still influence your life, or to take control of some ongoing ones.
I am a highly motivated and passionate real guy with a solution focused approach to life, therapy and mental health. I bring a refreshing new approach to every appointment and treat every client as a true equal and approach every issue as a team. It is not uncommon to meet me for a walk and talk session or work with you on a specific issue and end up at the dentist, supermarket; passenger in your car or with spiders on our knees. I make the treatment of incredibly challenging issues positive, normal and achievable.

Hi, I am Dr Robyn Price. As a qualified psychologist, I am experienced in working with anger, anxiety, depression, emotional dysregulation, obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), stress, substance misuse, and relationship difficulties. In addition, I have experience in treating mental health conditions in neurodiverse clients as well as supporting neurodiverse individuals to understand and accept their diagnosis. I run my practice using the principles of trauma-informed care. Rather than focusing on ‘what is wrong with you?’ the emphasis is on ‘what happened to you?’.
Stressed? Anxious? Generally feeling low? Talking can change your life. It is a bold statement but when you have the right person that is listening, it can be a real game changer. No issue or worry is ever unworthy of therapy and you should never feel alone or like you have no one to talk to. Each individual has problems that are relative to their own life and therefore my Therapy is not just a 'one size fits all' model. Using my professional experience, coupled with my passion and empathy, every person is treated as an individual from within a space that is safe, secure and totally free of all judgement and stigma.

Life can present many challenging and difficult situations, leaving us with a mixture of feelings and emotions to try and make sense of. We may experience feelings of anxiety; anger; confusion; sadness; loneliness and feeling ‘stuck’, with a sense of no direction. Sometimes we feel, we just need time; space and a neutral person to talk to, as we explore and untangle our thoughts; emotions; experiences and behaviours. If you would like the opportunity for this, then I am able to provide a safe, confidential and non-judgemental space for this to happen.
If your child is experiencing low wellbeing, they may find the simplest of daily tasks a struggle, such as making friends or maintaining concentration. Play Therapy/Integrative art therapy could be the answer! Children may not be able to process their own emotions or articulate problems to parents or other adults. Therapeutic Play led by a trained therapist can help your child to explore their feelings and gain resilience in a safe and non-judgmental space.
Working within the mental health and safeguarding arena’s for many years I have nurtured a genuine fascination for people and their individual stories. I am able to employ this diverse experience to inform my practice as a Psychotherapist. As a Counsellor for Rape Crisis I have significant experience of working with survivors of sexual violence and trauma. Additionally, I have worked with the Police service for 18 years, developing a passion for working individually with emergency services, medical or armed forces personnel to help them process the many sources of trauma they encounter in their working lives.
