Hi. Are you feeling overwhelmed, anxious, low, stuck — or like you’ve lost yourself in patterns of putting everyone else first? You might look fine on the outside, but inside you’re exhausted, tangled, and carrying too much alone. I’m an experienced counsellor with 15 years’ practice. I offer a steady, compassionate space where you can slow things down, make sense of what you’re feeling, and understand what your emotions are trying to tell you — because feelings don’t just happen to us; they shape how we cope, choose, and relate.

I am a BACP registered Integrative Counsellor, with a focus on the person centred theory of counselling whilst also integrating CBT and Psychodynamic approaches, where it feels right for you.
Starting therapy can be scary but I'm here to help. What I can offer you is a space to feel safe and supported to share your story and reconnect with your authentic self. A safe space Feeling lost? Isolated? Anxious or depressed? Struggling with relationship dynamics, personal crisis or challenging life transitions? It takes real courage to seek support during times of uncertainty and stress; allowing yourself the time and space to process and grow is what I can help you with during our sessions. Taking some time away from the rest of your life to process and heal is not self indulgent or selfish, it is a pillar of self care.

The feeling of freedom and space is so important. The freedom to think, feel safe, encounter and explore is something in our busy lives that we do not often get. This is what I like to be able to be able to offer through my time with you. Using different therapeutic methods, our time together is yours, where you can explore what is going on in your life, your mind, your body and make changes to bring you your own sense of freedom.

Drawing from psychodynamic therapy, CBT, DBT, and MBT, I offer an integrative approach tailored to each person.
My clients are often thoughtful people who have spent years coping rather than understanding. They may be struggling with anxiety, trauma, grief, relationship difficulties, ADHD, autism, or feeling stuck in patterns they cannot fully explain. Many arrive feeling overwhelmed, self critical, or disconnected from themselves. Together, we make sense of the experiences, relationships, and coping strategies that have shaped their lives, helping them develop greater clarity, self compassion, and confidence to move forward in a way that feels authentic and sustainable.

My approach is relational, person-centred and reflective, influenced by existential, psychodynamic and Jungian thinking.
I work with adults experiencing anxiety, grief, trauma, emotional overwhelm, relationship difficulties, complex relationships with food, neurodivergence and experiences of marginalisation. Many clients come to therapy feeling stuck, disconnected from themselves, or exhausted by ways of coping that no longer work. I offer a warm, reflective and collaborative space to explore difficult experiences, better understand yourself, and begin making sense of patterns, emotions and relationships.

My practice is, in the main, informed by three interconnected modalities: the Person-Centred approach, Psychodynamic theory and Attachment theory.
I work with adults and Young People aged between 18 to 25. My counselling practice welcomes anyone. You don't need to have specific life experiences or fit any criteria - I will welcome you for who you are. Whilst there can be specific life events that bring someone to counselling (for example a bereavement or job loss) it is more often a combination of life events that prompts people to seek assistance. Every person’s journey is unique and so my aim is to co-create with you an accepting and supportive therapeutic relationship as a base from which we can explore those aspects of your life which are most meaningful to you

Through psychodynamic interpersonal therapy, I can help them uncover the emotional patterns shaping their relationships, offering a reflective space to understand themselves and create new ways of relating.
I am a HCPC registered Clinical Psychologist. Clients who would be suitable: Someone who appears capable but feels stuck in familiar relational patterns or overwhelmed with emotions. They may feel unheard, misunderstood, or constantly doubting or blaming themselves. Beneath this, they want to understand why certain dynamics keep repeating. They need space to explore their emotional world, make sense of long-standing patterns, and move toward relationships and emotions that feel more balanced, connected, and authentic.

Psychodynamic explores how past events might affect current behaviours whilst CBT explores how thoughts affect feelings and behaviours.
Hello, I am David, an experienced qualified Pluralistic counsellor. I believe no single counselling approach or modality will fit every client and presenting issue as we are all unique individuals with our own stories to tell. I tailor my approach to you, using the therapeutic modalities that best address and resolve your problems, with your collaboration and agreement. At the heart of my counselling style is the belief clients heal through exploring how their issues arose, where these come from, and crucially how to make the changes needed to feel at ease with themselves and make lasting improvement. I help clients do this.

I use various schools of therapy and techniques (person-centred, psychodynamic, transactional analysis, and CBT) that are tailored to your needs and progress.
Hi, I'm Moeez (pronounced moe-ease), a qualified integrative psychotherapist. In this fast-moving, uncertain, and precarious time period of late stage capitalism, there can be many responsibilities and problems we have to shoulder. Are you suffering from stress? Always worrying? Has your mood been consistently low recently? Not sure what your purpose in life is? Are there difficulties in your relationships? Have you not been able to process past trauma? Experiencing discrimination? Struggling with identity? Do you want clarity and awareness about yourself in how to get better?

Navigating a world built for neurotypical minds can be relentless. If you're neurodivergent (or wondering whether you might be), you may have spent years adapting, masking, and pushing through, often without support that truly fits. I'm a neurodivergent therapist who specialises in working with ADHD, autism, and other forms of neurodivergence. I don't offer formulaic approaches. Instead, we work collaboratively to find what actually helps you, drawing on a range of therapeutic methods tailored to how you think, feel, and process the world. I also work with a wide range of other difficulties, always meeting you as you are.

When you're used to being the one who carries the weight, solves the problems, and just keeps moving forward, admitting that you've hit a wall isn't easy. You might be navigating intense pressure at work, facing a relationship crisis or infidelity, or simply realising that your usual strategies for managing stress and anxiety aren't cutting it anymore. It’s common to deal with this by shutting down or trying to white-knuckle through it alone. I provide a straightforward, down-to-earth environment where you don't have to filter what's going on, and where we can look practically at what's keeping you stuck.

Is psychodynamic therapy evidence-based?
Studies have found psychodynamic therapy to be effective in treating conditions like social anxiety, eating disorders, chronic pain, some personality disorders, and depression; indeed, some studies have found it to be just as effective as CBT or medication. What’s more, several studies have found that the benefits of psychodynamic therapy tend to endure—even grow—long after treatment has ended.

How long does psychodynamic therapy last?
Unlike CBT and other more structured forms of therapy, psychodynamic therapy tends to be open-ended and may not be limited to a set number of sessions. It is common for clients to be in therapy for a year or longer and to see their therapist one to three times a week, though the exact schedule and timeline may vary depending on a client’s challenges and progress. However, brief psychodynamic therapy is available, which tends to be more goal-oriented and typically unfolds over 16 to 30 sessions.

Does psychodynamic therapy work?
Research finds that psychodynamic therapy can help someone manage or reduce symptoms of diagnosable mental health conditions like depression or anxiety. The modality may also offer a range of benefits that are harder to measure but just as valuable—such as increased self-worth or healthier relationships. While no therapy type will work for everyone, research and anecdotal evidence suggest that psychodynamic therapy can be highly effective.

What are the limitations of psychodynamic therapy?
Some meta-analyses have concluded that there is little evidence to suggest that psychodynamic therapy can effectively treat certain mental health conditions such as PTSD, OCD, or psychosis, though it is sometimes used to do so. More broadly, the open-ended, free-association structure of psychodynamic therapy may be frustrating for clients who prefer a more structured, time-limited, or goal-oriented approach.
