As an integrative and LGBTQ+ affirming counsellor, I offer a warm, non-judgemental space tailored to your unique experiences. If you’re struggling with anxiety, low mood, relationship difficulties or feeling unsure of how to care for yourself, I am here to listen and support you. It can be difficult to recognise and express your needs, especially when they conflict with the expectations of others. Over time, this may lead to anxiety, self-doubt, or feeling disconnected from yourself and those around you. You might long to feel more understood, or more in touch with who you really are, but not know where to begin.

My aim is to bring together effective approaches incorporating a variety of therapeutic models such as relational therapy, humanistic, psychodynamic, attachment theory, person centred and neuroscience. This will also depend on your individual needs. My experience also covers body psychotherapy and energy work along with solution based therapy and mindfulness. I offer both short and long term therapy and the length of therapy will depend upon the presenting issues and your wishes. Is there a particular problem you would like to talk through and explore? This could be to do with a relationship, work related or a repeating pattern.

Hi, I'm Michelle, an Integrative Counsellor. I know first-hand how daunting it feels to admit you need support. How anxious you possibly feel about taking the first steps to seek it. Especially making that first call or sending that email to a Counsellor, to secure that first appointment. I'd like to think I make that process easy for you, with my kind and supportive nature. I'm a Counsellor who is very easy to get along with. I consider myself to be someone people feel at ease around and comfortable opening up to. I am non-judgemental and empathetic, my only aim is to get you talking. I will lead you from there.

Perhaps you are feeling stuck in some aspect of your life or aren’t sure of the way ahead in your life. Transitions and dilemmas can occur at any point during a person’s life. These might include marriage or becoming a couple: changes in a private or professional role: uncertainty in identity: relationship difficulties: loss; pregnancy: child birth; and the challenges presented during the ageing process. Sometimes we need to make sense of what has happened to us and sort out our emotions. I have worked with a range of difficulties which can occur at any point during a person’s life. I am familiar and happy to work with difference.

Opening up to someone new can understandably make you feel anxious. You may wonder, "Will I be judged?" "Will I be told I'm a hopeless case?" A lot of the time we can be own worst enemy. We tell ourselves that we are not good enough, not capable, or not loveable. We get frustrated, angry, depressed, anxious, and stuck in a world which sometimes feels fake and hollow somehow. We allow others to bully us, walk all over us, hurt us and destroy our dreams. However, all is not lost. Often all we need is just a small change in our perception, and to be seen and heard. This can make a huge difference.

I work with individuals on an open-ended basis or for an agreed time period, with the aim of enabling you to enhance your life and to live it more fully. Psychotherapy and counselling is often called the 'talking cure'. People often value such help during a time of transition and change, crisis or loss when it is difficult to know 'what to do'? I believe it is always possible to improve the way in which people tackle their problems and to use times of difficulty to make changes for the better.

I offer psychotherapy sessions in person at consulting rooms near Exeter on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays.
In my work as a Psychodynamic Psychotherapist, I help adults who are experiencing considerable difficulties with their thoughts and feelings about themselves and in their relationships with others - particularly with partners, family and at work. These difficulties are often associated with a variety of psychological problems and negatively affect mental health, sometimes severely. Persistent poor mental health and relationship issues are often rooted in problems with caregiving experienced as an infant, child and teenager.

You deserve to be free from anything standing in the way of you being true to and at peace with yourself. Perhaps you are feeling like you have lost this, or aren’t sure you have found it within just yet. Maybe you want to voice and explore something which is particularly challenging you. Whatever has brought you here, I would like to provide a supportive space for you to express it. I am an Integrative Counsellor/Psychotherapist, which means I draw on a range of approaches, including creative arts if this is something you are interested in trying. Most importantly, the way we work together must feel right for you.

At my clinic room in Leamington I offer sessions in person and online.
My hope is that, with my help, in as few sessions as possible, you will step forward with confidence and equipped with the insight and clarity required to face whatever life challenges you are confronted with. I offer you a space where you can be completely yourself— without judgement or pressure, only acceptance. Life can feel overwhelming at times, and it’s easy to lose sight of who we are or what we truly need. Feeling as if “there is something wrong” and not being able to identify it or address it can be exhausting. I hope to take some of that emotional weight from you.

I offer sessions in person or online on Mondays, Tuesdays and Fridays.
I work with adults offering counselling for all manner of issues that may be causing distress, confusion, grief or a feeling of being stuck. The counselling relationship is one where we start to feel safe enough to begin to be able to notice and explore our situation from different perspectives. This can be a relief, and transformative in so many ways.

Hi, My name is Chrissie, I describe myself as a transpersonal and integrative therapist, specialising in Internal Family Systems Therapy (IFS) and conscious connected breathwork. I work in a way that includes mindful awareness of the body and creativity, and an awareness of our True Nature (Self) as our innate healer. In my experience traditional talk therapy confines us to working mainly with what we are already conscious of, and therefore has limited healing potential. My wish is to support you to connect to you true nature through digesting past wounds, leaving you free to face your future more free of the past.
