Special Interests: Jungian-informed approaches, Metaphysics, cognitive neuroscience of trauma, meditation, the fundamental laws of the universe, the neuroscience of spirituality, manifestation, & visualization.
I am a Psychological Therapist with over 18 years of clinical experience in mental health care, spanning both public and private sectors. My approach is rooted in trauma-informed therapy, helping clients understand and address the early experiences that have shaped their emotional distress in the present. I take a neurobiological approach to healing—integrating brain and body—to help clients make sense of their nervous system responses. When we experience trauma, adversity, or chronic stress, our bodies adapt in ways that can feel overwhelming or confusing. My work involves demystifying these responses and empowering clients.

I believe that my experience in the fields of spirituality and psychology has given me the tools for accessing deeper layers of human psyche to facilitate self- healing, inner peace and self-empowerment.
Via psycho-spiritual counselling and Jungian approach I assist my clients to access, process, and release their emotional 'baggage' stored in the subconscious, which is often related to the stubborn unconscious programmes, e.g. self-sabotage or co-dependency. I also help my clients with emotional self-regulation, coping strategies & somatic yoga therapy.

I work with a diverse range of issues however the key areas are in relationships, codependency, trauma, addictions, sexuality, race, culture, spirituality and working with female survivors of rape and sexual abuse.
Hi, I am a Person-Centered counsellor and clinical supervisor based in South Manchester. I believe the first step to therapy can be the most difficult yet courageous. There are times when we could use some space to talk about and process what we are feeling and explore life issues, allowing yourself permission to reach out and talk to someone can be half the battle. My practice is holistic in its approach, connecting with the mind and body. As well as talk therapy I use somatic experiencing, EFT, grounding and mindfulness to help you connect with and explore your emotions and work through issues to re-balance.

I first encountered the world of counselling and psychotherapy in 1994 when working and studying in the area of Franciscan spirituality with others.
Problems often do not fit into easy categories as each person has their own individual history and way of being, and so difficulties emerge in a unique way to the individual. For example, depression or anxiety might be completely normal reactions to a difficult situation. Anxious about contacting me? I would encourage you not to be too anxious about making contact regarding psychotherapy. Feeling anxious is a normal aspect of therapy, especially at first.

Hello, my name is Mariusz and I am an accredited Person-Centred Counsellor and Psychotherapist. I offer in-person sessions in Glasgow city centre or online via Google Meet. I have a particular interest and experience in working with issues such as bereavement, grief, loss of meaning, adjusting to change and trauma. I also have an interest in neurodivergence and spirituality.
Do you struggle with the voice inside your head that tells you you're stupid, ugly, pretending to be someone you're not? Do you want to change this voice?. Through person-centred therapy, working with the issues my children were mirroring for me and offering myself compassion, working with my neurodivergence instead of rejecting it and shaming myself I managed to heal this and recover from narcissistic relationships. This is your time, I truly believe you can reach your full potential like I did with the conditions my own therapist provided, just like a flower I bloomed, you can too!

My interest in psychotherapy, spirituality and meditation began after the end of my marriage several years ago, which like many other types of losses, triggered a lot of suffering
use a somatic approach to address present concerns, supplementing it with CBT/ACT and mindfulness exercises. Experiential learning and skills development empower my clients to apply what they learn to their daily lives. While I enjoy working with clients facing a wide range of difficulties, I have a particular interest in anxiety, OCD and trauma

The reasons we have for seeking therapy are as varied and complex as the people seeking. You may be facing challenges in your life and relationships you wish to overcome. Or want to experience greater creativity, richer relationships, or simply have more ‘good’ days. Within our relationship, I aim to create an environment where you feel comfortable and safe to express, explore and examine your thoughts, feelings, and behaviours both past and present. I am driven to find freedom from the patterns of the past, which existed once to protect us and now may have become self-limiting and even hurtful.

Hi there. As a therapist, I offer a safe place to explore a wide range of personal and private issues in confidence. I believe that people suffer unnecessarily due to a lack of education on the purpose, function and management of the mental and emotion parts of ourselves. I want to bridge the gap between those that have studied and those that have struggled with mental health. I am here to support you in your journey by offering a friendly, impartial and philosophical yet practical perspective, to assist you in understanding what may be going on and to devise and tailor a way to healing and happiness.

What happened to us, doesn't have to define us. The narrative of our issues can be transformed in something different. A healing story that can give you empowerment and freedom. Maybe you are dealing with anxiety, depression, anger. Maybe you are looking for happiness or you feel you are lost. Or maybe, you still don't know what's missing. Regardless, I understand it's important for you to know how to cope, where you want to go in your life and what really matters to you. Finding and/or redefine your personal story, that fits your own true self, may give you the answers you are looking for.

What should I expect from therapy that incorporates a focus on spirituality?

Spirituality can mean different things to different individuals, depending on their experiences, beliefs, and life histories. Some individuals focus on strengthening their belief system, while others experience spirituality in secular ways, such as through meditation, yoga, or by spending time in nature. Clients can expect a therapist to help guide and grow their spirituality through any of these techniques, encouraging the individual to cope with the challenges they face and develop strategies to build resilience and purpose to improve their outlook in life.

What are the most common treatments that include spirituality?

There are several treatments that incorporate spirituality. Mindfulness-based cognitive therapy (MBCT) helps a person examine and reframe their negative thoughts and behaviours. Acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT) focuses on emotional acceptance and psychological flexibility. Existential therapy is most often used to address anxiety, depression, grief, loneliness, apathy, despair, questions of identity, and feelings of purposelessness and existential dread. Transpersonal therapy focuses on a client’s spirituality and meaning in life and may incorporate techniques including meditation, visualisation, hypnotherapy, dream analysis, and or breathwork.

Can therapy incorporating spirituality help atheistic or agnostic individuals?

Yes. For non-believers, spirituality can offer benefits including a greater sense of connection to others and to the natural world. An interest in spirituality may also spur individuals to pursue mindfulness practices, or to contemplate their purpose in life and how to achieve it.

How effective is spirituality as a therapeutic remedy?

Research suggests spirituality is generally beneficial for individuals. It is correlated with better health habits, such as less substance use, and an improved capacity to cope with stress and other mental health challenges. Increased spirituality can lead individuals to become more empathic and less materialistic, as well.
