If you’re reading this, it probably means you’re thinking about starting therapy – maybe for the first time. Fair play for making it here. I know it won’t have been easy. Sadly, most guys don’t make it this far. But you did – so well done.
I specialise in working with men who feel stuck, ashamed or emotionally flat. You might be functioning well enough, but you know there’s something deeper… and maybe haven’t ever spoken about.
Whether it’s a long-standing issue or something that’s come up recently – addiction, anger, burnout, relationships, identity, porn or loss – we work together to understand what’s really going on for you.

At certain points in our lives, we might find ourselves in what may seem like an unbreakable cycle of self-destructive behaviours, overwhelming emotions and a sense of disconnect to those around us, or perhaps even within ourselves. If you’re reading this, it is likely that you currently find yourself somewhere within that cycle or you may have feelings of anxiety, depression or low self-worth. You may be experiencing relationship difficulties, intrusive and obsessive thoughts, self-harm, child-hood trauma or grief. Whatever the reason may be, I just want to firstly remind you that you are not alone.

Accepting that you need the help of someone else can be hard. Making the decision to attend counselling can be even harder. Partners, peers and family may not understand, you may feel like you've failed somehow, you may feel like you are not enough. This is far from the truth however.
Attending counselling is often the first step on a journey that allows us to confront our difficulties, face our fears, become more self-aware and ultimately take a path that can lead to a better life.

I came to TA after a long time in therapy, which convinced me of the power of talking therapy to enable change. I wanted to learn about T.A as it fits with my values of equality. A core principal is that " I'm OK and You're OK" and I approach my practice in that way. Therapy can be hard work, but there is always the potential for growth, and happiness.

I love my work as a counsellor and consider myself very lucky to have supported so many clients over the years. I believe challenges are easier to face with a companion and this is where I can be of help.
I work with a wide range of concerns but have a particular passion for working with loss and neurodiversity.

Do you ever feel like you’re going through the motions of life, yet something feels missing — like you're stuck in patterns you can't quite explain? Do relationships feel harder than they should — leaving you feeling unseen, unfulfilled, or questioning your worth?
Many of us carry unseen wounds from childhood, times when our emotional needs weren’t met, when love came with conditions, or when we had to adapt to feel safe. These early experiences can echo through adulthood, shaping how we see ourselves and relate to others. We might seek validation in the wrong places, silence our needs, or feel anxious and low without knowing why.
