There is hope even if your brain tells you there isn't, and it is my job as a counsellor to help you see it. It is usually buried somewhere under layers of shame, self-criticism and feeling not good enough. We will work together to help you feel a deeper sense of fulfilment and control over your life. With the right support and tools, you can overcome challenges and lead a more balanced and satisfying life, even if now it seems impossible.

Self-criticism can feel like it’s on a painful, repeating loop. You might find you are telling yourself that you are not good enough, or boring, ugly or fat. Far from motivating you, it’s my belief that punishing yourself in this way actually limits your choices and actions and keeps you stuck. Quite simply, talking to yourself in a mean way doesn’t get you anywhere. Talking to another person, and opening up about this habit can really help.

Recently, I've been working with a lot of clients who have substance misuse issues. These can greatly affect a persons confidence and I feel I am good at helping clients address their issues and go on to live the life they deserve. I'm also experienced at working with clients suffering bereavement issues. Sometimes its hard to make sense of someone's loss. Let me help you explore that grief and ways in which you can look at moving on from your loss. I offer a safe warm space for our sessions. I'm happy to work at the clients pace and my aim is to help you develop as a person.

Do you struggle with anxiety, imposter syndrome or low mood? Comparing yourself negatively to others, fearing rejection if you are your authentic self, or make a mistake. You may have always felt this way, stemming from painful experiences in your past. Or has something happened more recently that has changed your sense of self? Maybe you are starting to identify as ADHD, AuDHD or ASC, and you're trying to make sense of your life story from this new perspective. Therapy is a safe and supportive space to explore your difficulties at your pace, develop new strategies, regain confidence whilst reconnecting with what you value and enjoy

I like working with individuals and couples – on issues and worries ranging from anxiety, stress, and depression to all types of trauma. Of particular interest is working with people experiencing existential angst or simply feeling "stuck" in one way or another. I like to help people to get "un-stuck" and to take steps towards living their lives in more fulfilling ways, and having healthier, more rewarding relationships.

I came to TA after a long time in therapy, which convinced me of the power of talking therapy to enable change. I wanted to learn about T.A as it fits with my values of equality. A core principal is that " I'm OK and You're OK" and I approach my practice in that way. Therapy can be hard work, but there is always the potential for growth, and happiness.

We accumulate ways of being in the world that supported us in the past but, perhaps, don’t serve us now. This may be held in our bodies, thoughts, emotions, and the way that we relate to ourself and others. Therapy is a process of exploring this together with a balance of safety and challenge. I have experienced personally and with others how this can facilitate deepening self awareness, processing old wounds, and living more authentically. I am warm and openminded, and I am committed to being honest because I believe that it is paramount to enabling trust to develop. I meet you as my genuine self, rather than in ‘role’.

I understand that it can be hard to reach out for therapy, especially when you may be finding life tough at the moment. Or perhaps you are in a better place and have decided that you want to explore aspects of your life. Either way, please do contact me to discuss your needs. In therapy sessions I would work with you to process your past so that you can see how it impacts the present. For many there is the need to grieve for what has been lost, whilst giving the opportunity to identify and embrace your true inner self. You would strengthen ‘Adult’ you, freeing yourself to embrace life.

Welcome to my page! My journey to Soul Psychology started 30+ years ago during the extensive practice & study of Yoga, Meditation & Eastern Philosophy. This led me to become a Hatha Yoga teacher to assist others to find their way back 'home' to wholeness of body, mind, and spirit. Eventually I came to a study of Western Psychology, specifically Psychodynamic, Jungian Archetypes, Somatic, Dreams, & Shadow Integration work. I feel that my experience in the fields of yoga, spirituality and psychology has given me the insight to access deeper layers of human psyche to facilitate real & long-lasting self-healing & self-empowerment.

I work with individuals and couples who feel stuck, anxious, or uncertain about where their life is headed. They may be facing relationship issues, low self-esteem, or the emotional weight of trauma. Often, they’re looking for clarity, relief, and more supportive ways to connect with themselves and others. I also see many people exploring shifts in identity, culture, or sense of purpose—sometimes linked to a recent diagnosis of autism or ADHD, or simply a changing life stage. My aim is to help each person tap into their own strengths, discover new perspectives, and find genuine hope and direction.

Talking therapy can help you to understand, process and move past whatever you feel is holding you back. It can give you the time, space and tools to overcome, and to be who you want to be. Being able to look and the past, present and future in a safe, non judgmental environment can be transformative, and has been for many of my clients.
