About
Hello, thank you for taking time to read my profile, in doing so you've already taken a step towards finding support. My training is in the person-centred approach, which puts the client at the centre of the work we do together. Aspects of the approach are valuing, being genuine, with the counsellor striving to understand your world and experiencing. In life there are times when it becomes hard to cope with the difficulties, worries that come along and we feel the need for someone to listen outside of our family and friends. I offer a confidential, welcoming, relaxing space where you can be yourself, one where we explore your needs.
I have experience of working in both the private and voluntary sector, working with the anxiety, panic attacks, stress, depression, grief and loss, relationship difficulties, low motivation, shame, guilt, low self-esteem/confidence, work concerns, post-traumatic stress, childhood abuse. I work with adults and young people. Student fees are £38 per session,
Counselling is a special journey where you find support to make the changes towards a happier and more fulfilling life. Being heard is a special experience, by exploring and understanding your needs together we can work through the difficulties, helping you make sense of your feelings and how you relate to the world around you.
