About
Hi, welcome to my profile. My name is Grace-Anne and I have trained in the areas of Social Psychology (BPS), Integrative Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP, ICP) and Clinical Hypnotherapy (GHSC, GHR, BPS). I integrate evidence-based approaches such as Person-Centred Therapy, Attachment Theory and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) that can be tailored specifically to your needs. Person-Centred Theory enables you to feel respected, heard and valued; Attachment Theory supports you to understand your core self from childhood, and CBT empowers you to alter overwhelming negative thoughts and issues in a more positive way.
Clinical hypnotherapy is an evidence-based therapeutic method that induces deep relaxation, manage levels of stress and anxiety, and is effective in reducing/eradicating phobias & fears, unhealthy habits (such as over eating or smoking) and increase positive thinking.
Life changes can cause stress and anxiety which may impact your mental and physical health. Talking helps because it brings cathartic relief through being heard, valued and accepted during times when you may need it most. I offer a warm and safe environment in which we can both work together to explore solutions that can heal your emotional distresses.
