You may be experiencing anxiety, low self-esteem, or general overwhelm. Perhaps you feel stuck, or bombarded by constant changes. The relationships we have or that we lack can leave us confused, frustrated, or deeply hurt. Our environment and how we are seen and treated by others can make us feel pressurised, dismissed, or misunderstood. Together, we can work to understand your current and past experiences, so you can process the painful feelings that have left you distressed. Working sensitively and at your pace, in a trauma-informed and culturally competent way, allows us to explore how you feel without judgment.

We all face challenges and difficult seasons in life that can leave us feeling stuck or unsure of how to move forward. This may show up as low mood, anxiety, overwhelming thoughts, or difficulty managing emotions. As a therapist qualified in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), I provide a supportive and compassionate space where we can explore these challenges together and work towards meaningful change. Starting therapy or opening up to someone new can feel daunting, especially if it’s your first experience of therapy. I understand the uncertainty this can bring, and I aim to make the process feel as comfortable as possible.

You may be at a crossroads, feeling stuck, or uncertain. Perhaps you're carrying anxiety, struggling with your inner critic, navigating a life transition, or processing loss. It may seem you're functioning well to the outside world, but internally, you've noticed a persistent tension, exhaustion, or a sense of disconnection from life and yourself, both in your mind (thoughts) and body (emotions). If you're here, you're seeking more than a quick fix. You want a greater understanding of yourself, your patterns, clarity on your values, a sense of purpose, and alignment with more fulfilling and meaningful experiences and connections.

You're someone who thinks carefully about things. You can see your own patterns, at least partially — you know something is getting in the way, even if you can't quite name it yet. Maybe it shows up in your relationships, a recurring sense of not-quite-enough, or a feeling that the life you've built doesn't fully feel like yours. You might carry the weight of family expectations, be navigating the gap between two cultures, or be a woman quietly re-examining the story you were handed. Whatever brings you here, you're not looking to be fixed. You're looking to understand.

Many of the parents I work with are deeply shocked by how difficult the transition to parenthood can be. You might be feeling intensely anxious, constantly on edge, or disconnected from the person you used to be before your baby or toddler arrived. Couples I work with often feel a growing distance, finding it hard to connect or find time together. Whether you are navigating the complex shift from one child to two, struggling with raw toddler rages, or dealing with a silent sense of shame that you've somehow 'failed' before you've even got started, please know you are not alone.

Does life feel unfair? Are you feeling anxious, depressed, stuck, or lonely? Maybe you're finding it hard to feel hopeful about the future or maybe someone has hurt you and you can't get passed the pain. I can help you process what feels heavy and support you to find the way forward. Together we can make sense of the feelings that are stopping you from being happy. Whatever your reason might be for starting therapy, you probably know that something needs to change. If you decide to work with me, we will explore the difficulties you’re facing and the impact they have on your life, and focus on creating the change you need.

I'm available to support you in your process of self actualisation by providing a safe space to explore, acknowledge and begin to process the challenges that are creating tension between your self concept (how you see, feel and experience things now) and ideal self (where you want to be). The direction of each session will be defined by you without pressure or expectation. I have experience of working with clients who have encountered significant trauma, grief and/or have been medically diagnosed with a range of mental health challenges. Maybe this is you, or maybe you’re just feeling a bit stuck in your current situation.

Do you find yourself overthinking, caught in self-criticism, or repeating patterns in your relationships that you don't fully understand? Perhaps you often put other people's needs before your own, struggle to know what you really want, or feel disconnected from yourself despite appearing to have things together on the outside. Or you're exhausted from trying to be the person you think everyone else needs you to be. My aim is to help you become more aware of what you feel and need, develop greater self-compassion, and feel more empowered to make meaningful choices that reflect who you really are.

Eating means nourishing ourselves. But what if its filled with fear? When our body and brain lack a sense of safety we become anxious about eveything. Maybe you find the need to control everything inteferes with your enjoyment of eating or that your body and shape are so important as an identity that you struggle to enjoy other important aspects of life. Maybe you notice a need to exercise thats becoming a personal demand rather than enjoyable. These are subtle changes that we dont always notice straight away and can be a warning signal about our relationshiip to our bodies.

I work best with clients ready to be honest, including with themselves, who want a therapist who is supportive but real. Many of the people I work with are navigating mental health, psychosexual difficulties or relationship breakdown, working through racial trauma and identity as Black or brown clients, or are trainee therapists needing a space that understands the demands of training as well as the person underneath it. What brings people to me is often a sense they have outgrown surface-level support and want to go deeper.

Is anxiety holding you back from engaging fully in your life? Anxiety can impact your relationships, your decision making, and how you express yourself personally and professionally. You may find yourself overthinking the smallest details of your life, scanning for mistakes and kicking yourself for not being able to handle things better. You may be feeling unsure of how to manage situations at home, socially, or at work and the future may feel overwhelming and uncertain. Perhaps you try to cope by staying busy, numbing your feelings, or distracting yourself – or holding onto anything that gives you some sense of control.

My primary clients are at-risk teenage boys and men navigating identity, belonging, and disconnection. I also work with school-refusing young people, neurodivergent and excluded young men, and the parents and families trying to reach them. Often after everything else has been tried. My experience spans Premier League clubs, SEND schools, youth offenders institutes, prisons, private law family courts, and elite sport internationally. Whatever environment a young person or family has moved through, I have likely worked within it. That breadth is what helps clients move forward with someone who genuinely understands their world.
