I'm a registered member of the BACP and work as an integrative therapist, which means I draw on a range of approaches to best support your individual needs. I believe that meaningful change begins with a sense of safety in the therapeutic relationship—when we feel safe, we can begin to understand the thoughts, feelings, and behaviours that may be holding us back or causing distress in our lives. I offer online sessions from 5pm, Monday to Thursday and I offer in-person therapy, from 8am to 4pm at my private practice in Putney.

Hello, I'm a clinical psychologist specialising in working with adults, children, young people and their families. I have 13+ years experience working in the NHS across a number of services including with adults, looked-after children and for a young people's drug and alcohol service. I also have experience working with parents over the perinatal period, with mothers and babies, and parents and toddlers. Experience has taught me that the most important factor in successful therapy is the relationship between therapist and client; therefore, I strive to provide a warm, accepting, engaging space for young people and parents alike.

It is never too late to experience the childhood you didn't get, through care, safety, and self-compassion. And it is never too late to discover your true self, beyond survival, beyond roles, and beyond the past.

Starting therapy can feel like a heavy step, but you’ve already taken the first one. Maybe you're waking up feeling weighed down by anxiety, depression, engaging in unhealthy patterns, or find yourself stuck in the same arguments with your child, or your partner. You may want to manage certain fears, or make proactive steps towards a goal. Perhaps you want to learn helpful approaches to support your parenting; or you may want a deeper connection with your family but are not sure how to bridge the gap.

Hi! I’m Izzy a Clinical Psychologist with a passion for helping people make sense of their emotional world and move toward meaningful change. Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of working with adults from a wide range of cultural and personal backgrounds. My goal is always to offer a safe and respectful space. Your issues may center around patterns you can’t seem to break: people-pleasing, perfectionism, emotional avoidance, or chronic overthinking. You need a space that feels both safe and gently challenging. You want to feel heard without judgment, supported while being invited to grow.

Are you struggling with painful sex, erectile dysfunction, low desire, or the impact of sexual trauma? Perhaps you're feeling stuck in relationship patterns – unable to connect as deeply as you'd like, or caught in recurring conflict. These issues can feel isolating – but they’re more common than you think, and you don’t have to face them alone. Therapy offers a safe, compassionate space to explore what’s going on, understand where these difficulties come from, and begin to move toward meaningful change.

Parent-Child Interaction (PCIT) Counsellors
Does parent-child interaction therapy (PCIT) work?
PCIT is an evidence-based treatment that has been shown to be effective across domains, including for children with behavioural problems, those on the autism spectrum, and those who have experienced early childhood trauma. Further, studies have found that the skills developed through PCIT benefit not only the child in therapy but also siblings, as the parent internalises lessons learned in sessions and is able to incorporate them into interactions with other family members.

How long does PCIT last?
The duration of treatment depends on the specific challenges clients face. Sessions are typically 60 to 90 minutes long, and treatment lasts, on average, between 12 and 20 sessions. Factors that influence treatment duration include how regularly a client attends treatment, how much progress is achieved between sessions, the particular skills that need development, and the extent to which the parent and therapist see improvement.

Can PCIT be done online?
PCIT is among the therapy types best suited for video sessions. Therapists are able to communicate with parents with essentially the same ease, and by observing the parent and child at home in their normal environment, the therapist may gain additional insight into their interactions, as the child will have their normal toys and may feel more comfortable and act more naturally than they would in a therapist’s room.

Does PCIT help parents?
In addition to the skills parents develop through the treatment, PCIT has also been shown to reduce frustration, stress, and depression in parents and promote confidence and a sense of calm when dealing with their children. The desired outcomes of PCIT include a reduction in defiant and aggressive behaviour by children and an improvement in communicating their feelings productively, complying with parental instruction, and behaving according to parents’ rules. Growth in these areas can be a relief for parents.
