At the centre of my practice is the importance of humans and other beings. The role I want to play in psychology is to promote social connectedness, positive emotions and meaning in all members of the community, not just those with mental illness. During our lives we are on journey of learning, at times what we experience does not match what we pictured life would be like, this creates conflict within many of us, and we become afraid. When we become afraid we stray from what can be a happier life. But step by step, we can overcome our fears with clarity of mind.
