You may have been feeling stuck for some time, sensing something needs to shift but not knowing how. Perhaps you've tried therapy, self-reflection, or spiritual practice, yet lasting change still feels out of reach.
As a therapist of colour, I understand that your challenges don't exist in isolation - family, culture and identity shape everything you carry. Whether you're navigating low mood, anxiety, relationship patterns, or a disconnection from your sense of purpose, I offer a space where your whole experience is welcome: emotional, cultural, and spiritual.

Many of my clients find me because they have tried "everything" and nothing seems to work. With long histories of challenging experiences, negative thought patterns, and emotional overload, it can be hard to know where to start. I help clients get to the root of their issues, learn skills to cope with current distress, and, if needed, process through past traumas. Paying equal attention to mind and body, we work together to bring a sense of calm to both. If you are ready to move beyond traditional "talk therapy", discover the origin of your distress, and experience relief from emotional reactivity or numbness, let's connect.

I work with individuals and couples navigating life's "in-between" spaces—those feeling the weight of cultural shifts, identity confusion, or family roles that no longer fit. My clients often feel like strangers to themselves, arriving with a sense of survival rather than true connection. I offer a space where your contradictions are welcome and your voice is finally heard. By integrating depth-oriented tools with creative metaphor, I help you untangle old patterns and move through transitions without the need for a clinical script. Together, we work toward living with genuine presence and clarity.

You may experience unexpected disruption, chronic conditions, major life upheaval, triggering of past experiences, bereavement, and any of these could create anxiety, trauma or depression. Understanding could fall away, your support system could become unhelpful, anti-depressants may not be effective and your coping mechanisms may not work. You may feel overpowered by your circumstances and perhaps seek support and reinforcement as you experience distress. You may want your complex issues to be contained and get some tools and techniques to cope. Perhaps you may just like to confide in someone and share your experience.

I work in a collaborative way with clients who present with unaddressed trauma, relational problems, anxiety, depression, low mood and a feeling of hopelessness. I have a special interest in trauma, attachment issues and addiction. Many of my clients identify with feeling stuck in their current situation or wanting to be more self aware and connected with themselves. Identifying their mind-body connection enables the client to recognise triggers and self-regulate rather than rely upon external resources or behaviours.

You may be here because things at home feel harder than they should. Mornings are tense. Homework turns into arguments. School keeps raising concerns. Your child reacts strongly to small things, shuts down, or seems constantly on edge. You might have wondered if something deeper is going on, but you don’t want quick labels, you just want understanding.

Do you find yourself living mostly in your head — coping, pushing through, and holding everything together — while your body carries the stress, tension, or unspoken emotions?
You may be experiencing anxiety, overwhelm, grief, or feel disconnected from yourself and others, or stuck in patterns like people-pleasing and self-doubt. You could be navigating life transitions, or searching for meaning, direction and more joy. Many people come to therapy carrying past experiences, feeling stuck in emotional loops, as emotions are not only held in thoughts but also in the body as tension, numbness, or a sense of being on edge.

How often do you find yourself thinking..... I don't know who I am any more'....'I just want to feel normal again'....'I feel angry all the time'...'I am a born worrier'... Most of the time we think that we feel this way because of events such as stress at work, problems in relationship, a loss (relationship, financial, job) or bereavement. Whatever the reason, over time you may find yourself thinking 'there must be more to life than this'. Counselling provides a confidential, non-judgemental space where I facilitate a process of self-awareness and understanding and where you feel safe to openly share what is affecting you.
