You may be carrying something that feels too heavy or too confusing to put into words, grief that won't lift, anxiety that shadows everything, or a sense that old patterns keep repeating no matter how hard you try. Perhaps you've experienced trauma, loss, or a pain that others haven't fully understood. My clients are adults across the UK who are ready to look deeper, not for quick answers, but for real understanding. Many come with depression, trauma, complex grief, infant loss, or relationship difficulties. Some come from diverse cultural backgrounds navigating identity, belonging, and emotional pain. What they share is courage.

Would you like to talk to someone impartial about your relationship difficulties, find out tips on how to communicate better with your partner? Are you looking to separate or divorce after an infidelity or a stressful few years? Maybe you've grown apart or just not sure whether you want to stay together? Perhaps your sex life is suffering and you want to improve it. Do you feel frustrated because you end up having the same kind of argument over and over and you want to understand why you feel stuck?

I have an interest in Buddhist psychology and psychedelic psychotherapy (which is the basis of my current thesis).
The modern pressures of life can take their toll on us – increasing responsibilities and being connected 24/7 can leave us feeling burnt out, anxious, and overwhelmed. Even when we do manage to disconnect, we find it difficult to disconnect from our racing thoughts. If you’re new to therapy it can be daunting, however taking this brave step can be rewarding. It can give you the space to explore what is really going on, process difficult emotions, develop healthy coping strategies and restore your mental well-being - so that you aren’t just surviving, but thriving in the world.

Have you been feeling nervous, anxious or on edge? Do you experience unwanted, intrusive thoughts or worries? Some of your concerns may include OCD, panic, rumination, and related checking/repetitive behaviours. You also may be experiencing other related issues such as shyness, low mood, health worries, sleep problems, work stress/burn out, chronic pain, perfectionism and self esteem. Additionally I offer Schema Therapy as an alternative to CBT to address reoccurring behavioural patterns, using techniques that shift negative beliefs to develop healthier ways of coping. My practice is LGBTQ+ and AuDHD affirmative.

I work online with adults who may be functioning well in many areas of life, yet still find themselves affected by anxiety, self-criticism, emotional reactivity, disturbed sleep, or memories that continue to intrude. Some come with clearly identifiable trauma; others with experiences that were harder to name at the time, such as emotional neglect, chronic relational hurt. Many have already reflected deeply or tried other therapies, yet still feel that something remains held in the body — unprocessed, unsettled, and difficult to let go of.

My clients often come to therapy during major life transitions - both consciously chosen and naturally unfolding. At such times, life can be unfulfilling, disconnected and inauthentic. Inner conflicts may gradually manifest in the persistent symptoms: anxiety, apathy, irritability, overthinking, emotional overwhelm, or attempts to self-soothe through compulsive behaviours. Therapy often begins when a person starts awakening to how they have been shaped by their experiences and recognises a need for change.

Sometimes what we need isn't someone with all the answers — but someone who can walk alongside us, offering both structure and space, while we make sense of what we're carrying. I believe therapy works best when it is collaborative and empowering — with you as the expert on your own life, and me bringing the clinical expertise and steady presence to help you find your footing. With over a decade of experience across the NHS, charitable, and third sectors, I bring evidence-informed practice alongside genuine curiosity about each person I meet — drawing on your strengths and self-knowledge, rather than imposing a framework.

The aim of therapy is to enable you to enhance your life and to live it more fully. Together we will recognise and explore patterns in yourself and others, what your triggers are and where those patterns may have originated.
