For more than a decade, I've witnessed the transformative power of therapy in my work within mental health services. I believe creating an explorative and supportive space is key to unlocking your inner strength and improving your mental well-being. Are you ready to: Gain deeper self-awareness? Break free from unhealthy patterns? Build stronger, more fulfilling relationships? If you're experiencing distress, repeating unwanted behaviours, or simply seeking personal growth, you're not alone. There's a part of you reaching out for help and another part that knows things can be better.

Good therapy can be life-changing. Taking the step to invest in your well-being is a wonderful way to take responsibility for your life, and positively impact those around you. Even if you’ve experienced deep hardship, there is always potential for life to improve. Many limitations can be shifted through changes in perception, reflection, and understanding.

I'm a registered integrative counsellor and therapist (MBACP) offering short and long-term therapy for adults and older adults in-person in Clapham Junction, SW11.
Well done for getting to here. Things can be better than they are today.
Wouldn’t it be lovely to have a non-critical someone to talk to? To listen as you share and explore what you are really thinking and feeling, all that you have been keeping inside, hidden for too long
‘There is no greater agony than bearing an untold story inside you.’ (Maya Angelou)
My life so far has been rich in terms of lived experience, motherhood, work and travel. After many nourishing years teaching English at an inner-city state school, I opted for a change choosing a second career in therapy. I am thoroughly committed to supporting my clients.

My clients typically experience depression, anxiety and problems with relationships. Many of my clients have no previous experience of counselling, others have tried different interventions but have struggled to make changes to their lives. All my clients want to lead their best lives and are curious about the patterns of behaviour that seem to get in the way and the origins of those behaviours.

Hi, welcome to my profile - let’s see if you think I can help. I believe that in order to overcome life’s challenges and achieve the sense of well-being you desire in life, developing a strong self-awareness is essential. I have an interest in helping you understand how your early relationships with parents, carers, family and peers can shape how you relate to the world around you at present. I have experience of helping those who have faced depression, anxiety, low self-worth; identity issues, drug addiction and anger problems understand how they can be connected to thoughts and feelings that developed in early life.

My approach to psychotherapy is integrated and collaborative; I believe my clients to be experts in their own experiences and I work with them relationally to explore how they live, experience and relate to the world and others, unpacking deeply held beliefs about themselves and others, with the shared aim of long-lasting change.

It is not uncommon at some point in our lives to feel stuck or disempowered and to experience a sense of uncertainty, loss or despair with emotions that seem difficult to process. It is part of the therapeutic process to help us understand why events and emotions impact the way we see and experience life, affecting our relationships with others and with ourselves. Therapy provides a safe and grounding space to explore behaviours or beliefs, possibly rooted in early life experiences, and how these may still affect how we feel, think and react today.

You may be feeling anxious, overwhelmed, or stuck in patterns of self-doubt that affect how you see yourself and your relationships. Perhaps you’re often self-critical, put others’ needs before your own, or find it hard to trust yourself. On the outside, you may seem to be coping, yet inside, you feel disconnected, exhausted, or uncertain about how to move forward. This could be a time when you’re seeking a space to better understand yourself, explore what’s holding you back, build confidence, and feel more grounded in who you are and the choices you make—without pressure or judgement.
