I am a group analytic psychotherapist offering both group and individual psychotherapy. I work from London Bridge and various spots around South East London and kent Borders and of course through Zoom and Teams if that is what you prefer. My work is grounded in the belief that emotional difficulties are shaped within relationships, social contexts, and the wider world we live in—and that healing often happens from there too. I offer a thoughtful, collaborative space to explore distress, patterns of relating, and questions of meaning, whether these show up in your personal life, work, or relationships.

Many people come to therapy feeling anxious, low, or stuck in patterns that don’t seem to shift, even though they are functioning well in everyday life. You may appear outwardly competent while struggling internally — highly self-critical, emotionally disconnected, or repeatedly finding yourself in difficult relationship dynamics. I work with adults who want to understand why these patterns keep repeating and are seeking meaningful, lasting change rather than short-term coping strategies.

I work with men who are used to taking the strain. Serving others. Problem solving. But who've been hit by a crisis, by something they can't fix. Where doubling down isn't cutting it. And who are ready to try something different. Working with me looks like exploring what's behind the crisis, hearing the message it contains, and responding to what it's saying.

Life is difficult. Do more, be more. Be what others want. I offer a space where we examine where you are in life, what's brought you here, what it's like being you and you in relation to others, and how you're contributing to where you're at. How will we do this? Through our relationship, where I'll offer support, care, empathy and challenge to help you examine life.

You might be feeling stuck or wondering whether you've made the right decision. You might not even know what the right decision is. You might even want to explore who it is that you are, why you do the things that you do, or why you're in the situation that you're in. If that is you, then consider what it is that counselling and psychotherapy might be able to do in helping you to consider all these questions that you might have about yourself and your situation.

Hi there, I'm Will, and whatever brings you here today – welcome, maybe I can help. I'm a BACP registered counsellor based in London Bridge, Crystal Palace and online, offering therapy to individuals and couples. I work in a way that is kind, thoughtful and imaginative. First and foremost, I listen deeply – to the content and the process. Over time, I seek to make connections between patterns in your day-to-day life, to patterns from your past, to patterns in the dynamic between us. The result is a growing space of awareness around these that, grounded in a supportive relationship, fosters clarity, meaning and positive change.

You may be struggling with anxiety, panic, relationship difficulties, emotional overwhelm, loneliness, or a persistent sense that something in life is not working despite appearing functional on the surface. Many people I work with feel stuck in repeating emotional or relational patterns, or find themselves coping on the outside while internally feeling unsettled, exhausted, or disconnected.

I aim to provide a warm, supportive and non-judgemental space for my clients to talk through challenging issues in their lives. This sounds simple, but is surprisingly powerful. I specialise in working with depression, anxiety, sexual issues and relationships (both romantic or otherwise). I have extensive experience working with people whose lives are in some way ‘alternative’ – in their sexuality or relationship practices, neurodiversity, use of psychoactive drugs, or general lifestyle. I have a particular interest in working with psychedelic experiences or otherwise altered states of consciousness.

I am a Person Centred Therapist registered with the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP). I have extensive experience working with under-represented communities and helping people understanding their behaviours. My counselling journey started a decade ago, not as a qualified counsellor, but as a client. By offering a judgment free space and the opportunity to be vulnerable, my therapist supported me on my journey of self-acceptance. It is on that connection between counsellor and client that I base my work. In my humanistic approach to therapy I believe that my clients are the experts of themselves.

I offer a warm, down-to-earth space for people who feel stuck, blocked or exhausted by patterns they can't shift: anxiety, depression, relationships, identity, or the weight of a world that wasn't quite built for you. I work with LGBTQ+ people, creatives and neurodivergent adults, but you don't need a label to get in touch. Men who aren't sure therapy is for them are also welcome. As an integrative therapist I combine person-centred warmth with psychodynamic depth, helping you feel heard while making sense of how your past shapes your present. I'll be on your side, and push back when it seems useful, gently but genuinely.

FAQ - Therapist Gender
As a man, why might I want to see a male therapist?
There are many reasons a man might wish to work with a male therapist, including a degree of shared identity, which may help client and therapist connect to each other and allow for a more free-flowing discussion of issues that can be deeply personal. Some men may feel more comfortable talking to a male therapist about relationship concerns, the pressures they feel around the roles society and family place on men, career or job challenges, self-esteem, or anger problems. For some men who have not had a male role models in their lives, a good male therapist may be especially helpful.

How can I find out about a therapist’s experience treating men?
Individuals looking for treatment should feel comfortable directly asking a therapist about their history treating men overall and the issues that arise in therapy with men. A good therapist will be happy to discuss such matters as well as their educational background, approach to treatment, and how they think they can aid a prospective client.

Can clients benefit from having a therapist of the same gender?
Therapy is not gender-specific, but some men as well as women feel more comfortable opening up about their experiences and history with therapists of a specific gender. An individual may feel that they have to explain less background information and be on the same page more quickly, particularly when discussing gender-specific challenges. That said, a good clinician can transcend most if not all gender concerns. Ultimately, the most important factor in therapy is the connection and trust the client is able to build with the practitioner.

Would a male therapist have specific training in treating men?
Generally, no. There are no certifications for treating men specifically, but there are continuing education classes that therapists may take that focus on treating men as a group. There are many therapists who focus on men and male issues in their treatment and therefore have experience and expertise in this domain.
