My specialism is men’s mental health and as a man I understand how we are largely socialised to mistrust emotional vulnerability, seeing it as a weakness.
As an integrative therapist I do not believe that one approach stands out as the best so adapt my work to provide a unique and supportive experience for each of my clients. Warm, compassionate and empathic by nature, I will provide a relaxed, non-judgemental space for us to discuss and explore what is going on for you.

I’m an integrative transpersonal therapist based in Borough/London Bridge. I draw on various psychotherapeutic disciplines, including Jungian, psychodynamic, Gestalt, and nervous-system focused approaches. I consider not only your life circumstance and history, but also the “bigger picture” of your life and the wider context in which you live, such as society, generational influence, hopes and ambitions.

If you are feeling weighed down by emotion, tangled in relationship patterns, or burdened by the pressure to be someone you are not—therapy can offer a way back to yourself. I work with individuals and intimate partners across all walks of life, identities, orientations, and relationship structures. Whether you are living with anxiety, carrying echoes of childhood wounds, or searching for a sense of belonging, we can co-create a space where you feel deeply seen and gently held. Together, we will listen closely to your experiences and begin to loosen what no longer serves you—so you can live with more freedom, truth, and connection.

People often come to me when they aren’t managing to keep things together like they usually do. Maybe you lost someone, or something’s tipped you over an edge. You know things can’t go on like this. You might be experiencing shame, anxiety, or loss. Or perhaps something’s off in your sense of self, your closest relationships, your decision-making at work. You might need some time to find your equilibrium. But you also need time and space to unpack what’s going on with you, and to begin to find out what you want… and perhaps a way to try something new.

I was helped tremendously by my own experience of therapy, and have been influenced by a variety of approaches to it. I know a thing or two about depression, not caring much for oneself and struggling to understand one’s feelings; I come at it as one who has seen for himself that a better life and a better relationship with the self is both possible and worthwhile. If you would like to know more about me, how I understand therapy and how I work, you might want to visit my website, where I write about all at some depth.

I was born and raised in multicultural societies all my life. Living in several different countries on 3 different continents (United Arab Emirates, Canada, Pakistan, Wales and England) has given me unique knowledge about culturally adapting therapy. It has also taught me to understand and work with many different kinds of people. I believe in building a strong therapeutic relationship with the client to create a safe and comfortable space to address and potentially alleviate psychological trauma. I have extensive experience adapting contemporary therapy and counselling and tailoring it to unique cultural nuances.

There are many ways people seek help, from addressing a particular event or behaviour to a more general sense that things are not right. I provide an open and confidential space to express whatever is on your mind. My practice covers mental health (such as depression, shame and anxiety), sexuality and relationships, neurodiversity, addiction, loss, change and more. In the messy reality of life, I find these issues usually overlap. We'll start wherever you are and work towards where you would like to be.

Extreme trauma exists in PTSD but in some way all of us experience trauma from the school bully to the manager who does not listen. We all have states of anxiety and depression. What is a normal state and how do we know if we are heading for a breakdown. What is a balanced happy life? We can have control of some things in our life and other things come along and smack us in the face. What therapy with me does is give you a space for observation without personal judgement or criticism , just questions from me so that I understand your motivations and help shape your goals. Sometimes your answers are in the past, often in the present.

Through our lives, we may have experiences and feelings that are difficult to make sense of and which would benefit from talking about with someone outside of our day-to-day life. Talking to a counsellor can feel like a daunting prospect, but in taking that next step you can give yourself the time, support and guidance you need to explore and understand the roots of these feelings and enable yourself to find new ways of relating that are fulfilling and enriching.

Hi there, I'm Will, and whatever brings you here today – welcome, maybe I can help. I'm a BACP registered counsellor based in London Bridge, Crystal Palace and online, offering therapy to individuals and couples. I work in a way that is kind, thoughtful and imaginative. First and foremost, I listen deeply – to the content and the process. Over time, I seek to make connections between patterns in your day-to-day life, to patterns from your past, to patterns in the dynamic between us. The result is a growing space of awareness around these that, grounded in a supportive relationship, fosters clarity, meaning and positive change.

I work from a place of trying to support people in becoming unstuck and starting to move forward. Everybody comes to therapy with their own unique reasons. This can be due to specific psychological difficulties, such as depression or anxiety, feeling sad, difficult early life experiences, traumatic events, high-stress levels, or a general sense of feeling unfulfilled. I believe every person has a unique story, and psychological therapy should be adjusted appropriately as there is no “one-size-fits-all” in understanding our mental world.

I gave my Counselling business the name NuVista (new view/Horizon because it was born from my vision and indeed my own personal journey that counselling or talking therapy can give people a new view of life once they; with the therapists help have explored and untangled the issues that make them anxious, stressed, depressed, bereaved, feeling suicidal or simply struggling with day to day life, or their jobs, their relationships their family life, their sexuality or even historical events that have been rendered unconscious or hidden and never spoken about. For me the goal or vision was to have a new outlook on life - a New View.

Male Counsellors

As a man, why might I want to see a male therapist?

There are many reasons a man might wish to work with a male therapist, including a degree of shared identity, which may help client and therapist connect to each other and allow for a more free-flowing discussion of issues that can be deeply personal. Some men may feel more comfortable talking to a male therapist about relationship concerns, the pressures they feel around the roles society and family place on men, career or job challenges, self-esteem, or anger problems. For some men who have not had a male role models in their lives, a good male therapist may be especially helpful.

How can I find out about a therapist’s experience treating men?

Individuals looking for treatment should feel comfortable directly asking a therapist about their history treating men overall and the issues that arise in therapy with men. A good therapist will be happy to discuss such matters as well as their educational background, approach to treatment, and how they think they can aid a prospective client.

Can clients benefit from having a therapist of the same gender?

Therapy is not gender-specific, but some men as well as women feel more comfortable opening up about their experiences and history with therapists of a specific gender. An individual may feel that they have to explain less background information and be on the same page more quickly, particularly when discussing gender-specific challenges. That said, a good clinician can transcend most if not all gender concerns. Ultimately, the most important factor in therapy is the connection and trust the client is able to build with the practitioner.

Would a male therapist have specific training in treating men?

Generally, no. There are no certifications for treating men specifically, but there are continuing education classes that therapists may take that focus on treating men as a group. There are many therapists who focus on men and male issues in their treatment and therefore have experience and expertise in this domain.
