I combine the best of psychotherapy and coaching with ideas and concepts from science, philosophy and spirituality to ignite your inner-growth and set you up with the wisdom, knowledge, and tools to transform your insights into action.
I'm a Self-Discovery Success Coach (Certified ICF Neuroscience-based Results Coach and Accredited BABCP Cognitive Behavioural Therapist), and I help soul-seeking professionals to stop running away from their demons of 'failure' and 'not good enough', and to re-discover their freedom, fulfillment and potential so that they can start working, and living, with more presence, power and purpose, without the constant self-doubt and self-sabotage getting in the way.

Well into the 21st century, life is faster and, in many ways, “easier”—the world is a click away.
With over 20 years of experience in mental health, I draw on a range of therapeutic modalities to meet your unique needs, whether as an individual or a couple. I integrate evidence-based therapies such as CBT, ACT, and CFT, alongside body-focused methods like EMDR and Brainspotting to address trauma and stress on a deeper, physiological level.

I understand that life can be difficult and challenging and you may be struggling because you are going through a transitional period or feeling stuck which can be hard to deal with on your own, but it does not have to be.
I work with a wide range of issues; including depression, anxiety, stress and grief. However, I specialise in working with clients experiencing relational problems, sexual trauma, complex post-traumatic stress disorder, disassociation and impostor syndrome. I do not give advice, and Integrative counselling is not one approach that fits all.

I work with individuals as a Coaching Psychologist, specializing in Internal Family Systems therapy (IFS).
The way we are can madden us, our minds repeatedly returning to anxious, painful or critical thoughts. It can feel as though we are getting nowhere, or, more frustratingly, that we get in our own way, stumbling against familiar issues and destructive behaviours. We can appear to ourselves like outsiders, like there is nowhere that we belong and as if we are less than who we hoped we’d be. Issues emerge of perfectionism, anger, despair, lack of confidence – we understand that self-worth is important, but how do we attain it? Especially in a world which won’t validate us. Our attention may turn inwards, but it’s rarely kind.

The journey often starts in a place of discomfort: anxiety, bereavement, feeling lost, stuck or frustrated with repeated patterns of behaviour that you can't seem to shift (in life and relationships), physical or mental health problems or the pain of old wounds that haven't healed.
My roots are in psychodynamic practice, though I draw from a range of approaches to help you access your 'inner world'. Most people find me easy to talk to and you might also benefit from creative work when words are not enough or seem hard to find. I offer full 60 minute sessions to allow space and depth to explore and avoid a hurried close to the session.

I have experience with clients who are undergoing significant changes and difficulties in personal relationships, employment or life in general.
I pay careful attention to the way patterns of your experience shed light on your concerns, and how they relate to past events, to present circumstances, and to the uncertainties of the future. This is existentialist therapy that builds an understanding of your way of being and relating. We explore how you can be 'at home' in the world.

A majority of my work is abuse with a focus on gaining empowerment and control back into life.
My Name is Nikki, I’m an Accredited Psychotherapist, Clinical Supervisor, Certified Teacher and EMDR Practitioner. I began my career back in 2004 where I trained as an integrative therapist with an instant liking to Transactional Analysis. Over the years I have trained and learnt many techniques and strategies whilst also researching theories and methods to enhance my work. Over the years I have adapted these methods to provide a very powerful and holistic approach that drives change and empowerment with a variety of issues and concerns with people of all ages.

Training included all the major psychological models; and it also focused on not just removing your symptoms (although this is obviously valuable and what brings you here) but on cultivating a way of being in relationships and life that brings you greater joy and meaning.
I work with RELATIONSHIP CHALLENGES. So, whether you're: a mother struggling in your relationship with your child or motherhood itself; a couple in crisis; experiencing recurring relationship problems; or still searching for that elusive romantic relationship I’m keen to work with you. I work with both individuals and couples; and I can discuss with you which one of these may be the best fit for you. I find that by exploring your personal history we can often discover the root cause of your challenges so you can begin to enjoy intimacy and connection.
