At certain points in everyone lives, there comes a time when life, work, family, loss, or the unhelpful ways you cope with stress can become overwhelming. I have worked with many people for over sixteen years who have experienced relational difficulties, I have experience in working with people who suffer with anxiety, depression, work related stress, relationship difficulties, addiction and addictive disorders, bereavement and loss. People who have been in recovery from addiction, and young people who have found self-isolation and lockdowns from Covid-19 too much to manage. Even though everyone has stopped talking about Covid.

I like to think of therapy as a collaborative process. Having someone with the right experience to help light the way and explore what may be behind the different doors we choose (or not) can be both illuminating and empowering. I balance warmth with gentle challenge to help you gain a deeper understanding of yourself, make sense of confusing or difficult experiences, and open up new possibilities that align with how you want to live.
I have worked with issues including: grief, isolation, racism, low self-esteem, depression, burnout, anxiety, stress, relationship difficulties, eating disorders, spirituality and existential crisis.

I am a psychodynamic psychotherapist in private practice, and I welcome anyone who feels that psychotherapy may provide the opportunity to consider their life. It is a collaborative process between the person seeking help and myself. It affords the chance to discover in which direction you might want your life to go.

You might be queer, creative, or sensitive — or all three. You’ve lived outside the lines in some way. Maybe you’ve done the healing work before but find yourself circling the same questions again:
Who am I, really? What do I want? Where do I belong?
You don’t want quick fixes or shallow advice. You want space to go deeper. To sit with the questions. To feel your way through.
I work online and in person in Brighton and London in London Bridge, SE1

I offer a safe, confidential and non-judgemental space where you can explore the areas of your life that you are struggling with. By exploring your thoughts, feelings and behaviours of the past and present I can help you gain better self-awareness and overcome the obstacles weighing you down.

If you decide to work with me it will be rather like setting out on a journey together. On that journey I’ll be your fellow traveller, companion and guide. Whether or not your reason for coming to see me is an external situation that’s impacting your life, a key part of our time together will be to explore your inner world. As we explore that world together you may develop greater insight into patterns of thought and behaviour that served you once but now limit you; you may find alternative ways of approaching difficulties; you may discover a way of being in the world that is more in tune with who you truly are.
