I work with individuals and couples. Are you facing challenges, fears, or struggles? Do you want to explore your feelings, experiences, and relationships or begin healing and growing? In therapy, we work toward your goals in a space of empathy, acceptance, and understanding. I provide a warm, non-judgmental environment, whether you seek deep reflection or a more solution-focused approach. Together, we create a path toward healing and self-discovery. For couples, every relationship has challenges, but with support, growth is possible. We can improve communication, manage conflict, navigate transitions, and heal from grief or trauma.

I support people who are experiencing anxiety, lowered mood, burnout, stress & adjustment to difficult changes and transitions in life. I create a safe, non judgemental & open space in sessions, with time work at a comfortable pace. I focus on giving time talk about what feels important to you & impacting your life. I work collaboratively to identify what you want to get out of our sessions, how to best work together, set goals & then regularly review our progress, making changes where necessary.

There can be times in life where you might feel like the world is a hard place to navigate. Difficulties can arise for many reasons ranging from a change of circumstances to unsettling past or present events. You might feel like you’re overwhelmed by emotions, uncertain of their origins and lacking a strategy to manage them. While therapy cannot alter your current circumstances or erase past traumas, it can empower you to build resilience, helping you navigate and grow through life's struggles. The goal is to guide you towards a more fulfilling and joyful life.

Are you feeling exhausted by life’s demands? Prehards you’ve always felt alone. Maybe you feel emotionally overwhelmed right now. Life can be difficult, and some experiences are profoundly painful. While everyone's challenges are unique, asking for help is always nerve-wracking; it takes a leap of faith to reach out! Still, therapy can change your life. I’m an experienced and fully qualified therapist registered with the British Association of Counsellors & Psychotherapists. I offer individual counselling and psychotherapy sessions for adults of varying lengths, in either French (mother tongue) or English, according to your needs.

You are probably here because you are facing some kind of crisis, or life transition, perhaps you have reached a point in your life where you want to understand why you feel, behave or react in the way you do, or you may simply be reaching for something you don’t yet understand. I will work with you in a creative and flexible way, really listening to your unique needs and determining what works for you. I draw on multiple therapeutic approaches and take a soulful and imaginative approach and consider what meaning we might make of the difficulties we face as well as looking to understand what events and patterns might have created

I like helping people resolve trauma & also helping people with anxiety such as health concerns. I am also skilled in helping people experiencing depression and low self-esteem. CBT has much evidence to support it being effective in treating common mental health issues by unlocking unhelpful thoughts and unhelpful behaviours which keep people stuck. We would work together to help you achieve your goals. I find that approaches such as Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) & Compassion-Focused Therapy (CFT) alongside CBT combined are often more effective and therapy needs to be at your pace to be successful.

Perhaps you work hard and you’re close to burning out. Or you’ve been living for others, not thinking of yourself. Maybe you carry pain, exhaustion, or anxiety that seem connected to your life story. Or you’re self-sabotaging. We all have a relational ‘operating system’ that shapes how we are in the world. It can seem hard-wired, but we can change. In therapy we can open it up and have a look, understanding old connections and rewiring for new possibilities. Moving beyond whatever’s brought you here. This is the work I love to do. Please get in touch: I'd love to hear more about what’s going on, and see whether I can help.

Some people seek psychotherapy and counselling because of a quiet desire for something more, some because of an absence of joy and liveliness, some feel a lingering sadness, some find themselves in shallow relationships, some are suffering the pains of depression, anxiety or anger, some feel close to madness, some are curious to take a closer look at the riches within.

Hello, I’m Rebecca. I will be by your side as you explore whatever you wish to share, accepting all parts of you and bringing all parts of myself. As a person-centred therapist I offer a space that is non-judgemental, open and supportive. I offer you space that is just for you, to have the time to be heard and express yourself. I'm passionate about social justice and embed this in my practice, curious about how your identities and life experiences are felt and perceived. It feels like a really hard time to be queer and/or trans at the moment, I'm here to hold you and have understanding and experience.

I have 20 years experience of offering a supportive, confidential place in which to make some sense of symptoms such as anxiety, stress, depression, or a sense of general dissatisfaction. You may have suffered a loss, or trauma, or be going through a transition in your life and would like to talk to a professional. People come to therapy for many reasons. I see my role as therapist as being someone who can support you in learning more about yourself, your thinking and behaviours, your relationships, and your unconscious motivations, supporting you to create meaning, and to make the changes that you feel you need.

There comes a point in our lives when things feel like they're getting on top of us. Strategies we relied on no longer work. Or, we feel that something is holding us back from leading a vibrant and fulfilling life. I offer a safe, confidential and non-judgmental space to make sense of your life and connect with yourself in a way that will help you to heal. Different things work for different people. Some of us are used to talking about our feelings; some of us are not. Others need images, music, objects and creative ways to help us capture an experience and connect with deeper feelings. I tailor my approach to the person I am with.

Perhaps you’ve felt stuck for a while, or have been feeling that something isn’t right but can’t quite identify what that is. You may be anxious, depressed, have low self-esteem. Maybe you are struggling in relationships, or finding it difficult getting your needs met? You may have often felt that you don’t belong, or that you’re not supposed to be doing the work you do. Perhaps you’d like to feel less frustrated, angry or alone? You may be experiencing grief, or struggling with addiction, you might have low libido, or want to explore your sexuality. It might be a family or historic issue you’d like to make sense of. I can help.

I aim to provide a safe, supportive and reflective space that allows us to explore your life challenges and identify how we can work together to help you feel happier and more able to live your life to the full. As a registered psychotherapist with the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy, I draw on and integrate established person-centred and psychodynamic approaches, as well as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy. I am trained to deal with many issues affecting emotional wellbeing, but I have particular experience of helping clients to understand their feelings and meaningfully process how this affects their lives.
